Arctic Monkeys have not announced any European concerts for 2027. As of 5 October 2026 the Sheffield band have no tour, festival headline slot or one-off show booked in continental Europe or Ireland, and they have not released a new album since The Car in October 2022. Their only new music since then is 'Opening Night', a song released on 22 January 2026 for the War Child compilation Help(2).
The band's last European concerts were the end of The Car tour in 2023: arenas in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Oberhausen, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris in April and May, a summer of open-air shows from Rock Werchter to Rome, and three nights at the 3Arena in Dublin on 15, 17 and 19 October 2023.
This page explains what is known about Arctic Monkeys' plans and retraces two decades of their concerts in continental Europe and Ireland, from Whelan's in Dublin in August 2005 to the 3Arena in 2023.
There is no official information about an Arctic Monkeys tour in 2027. The band have historically worked in long cycles: each album, from Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not in 2006 to The Car in 2022, has been followed by one to two years of touring and then a break. The gap between Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino (2018) and The Car (2022) was four years.
The release of 'Opening Night' in January 2026 was the first new Arctic Monkeys music in more than three years, but it came as part of a charity project rather than as the start of an album campaign.
When the band do announce a tour, past patterns suggest a European leg built around arenas in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy, plus summer festivals. Until there is an official announcement, treat any 'presale code', ticket listing or leaked list of 2027 dates with suspicion; the alert on this page will tell you when dates are confirmed.
Arctic Monkeys' first show outside Britain in the setlist archive is Whelan's in Dublin on 21 August 2005, months before their debut album. That November they toured the continent's small clubs: the Kleine Zaal in Amsterdam, La Rotonde at the Botanique in Brussels, L'Aéronef in Lille, L'Olympic in Nantes, L'Olympia in Paris on 7 November, Bordeaux, the Mudd Club in Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Razzmatazz in Barcelona.
After Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not became the fastest-selling debut album in British chart history, the 2006 tours moved up quickly: Le Trabendo and Le Bataclan in Paris, The Max and the Grote Zaal in Amsterdam, the Grosse Freiheit in Hamburg, the E-Werk in Cologne, Milan, Barcelona and La Riviera in Madrid, then the summer festivals. Favourite Worst Nightmare brought Le Zénith in Paris on 3 July 2007, two nights at Malahide Castle near Dublin, the Columbiahalle in Berlin and the Arènes de Nîmes.
The Humbug tour of 2009 and 2010 was the band's first proper European arena tour: the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, two nights at Le Zénith in Paris, the Arena Berlin, two at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, the O2 in Dublin, the PalaSharp in Milan, French arenas from Grenoble to Montpellier, the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid, the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona, Munich, Offenbach, Düsseldorf and Valencia. Suck It and See took them to La Cigale, the Admiralspalast in Berlin and the Théâtre Antique de Fourvière in Lyon in 2011, and to the Palacio de Deportes in Madrid, the Palau Sant Jordi and a French arena tour in early 2012.
AM made them a global headline act. In November 2013 they played the Columbiahalle, two nights at Le Zénith, Forest National, the Mitsubishi Electric Halle, the Zenith in Munich, the Forum in Assago, Madrid and Badalona; in summer 2014, the Zitadelle in Berlin, Pinkpop, Rock Werchter, the Arènes de Nîmes and Marlay Park in Dublin. The Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino tour of 2018 included two nights each at the Columbiahalle, the Cavea in Rome and Le Zénith, and two at the 3Arena in Dublin in September.
The Car tour reached Europe in August 2022 with festival headline sets and returned in 2023 for arenas: the Zenith in Munich on 25 April, the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle in Hamburg, the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Oberhausen, two nights at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, the Festhalle in Frankfurt and two at the Accor Arena in Paris on 9 and 10 May 2023. A summer run of Werchter, Aix-les-Bains, Bilbao, two nights at the WiZink Center in Madrid, Nîmes, Milan and Rome followed, and the tour closed in Dublin in October 2023.
The table below lists 246 documented European concerts by Arctic Monkeys between 2005 and 2023, with the most shows in Paris (19), Berlin (12), Dublin (10), Amsterdam (10), Madrid (8), Barcelona (7). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (6 May 2023 to 19 October 2023), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Few bands have headlined as many European festivals. The setlist archive shows Arctic Monkeys at Rock Werchter in 2006, 2007, 2011, 2014, 2018 and 2023, Hurricane and Southside in 2006, 2011, 2013 and 2018, Eurockéennes at Belfort in 2006 and 2011, Lowlands in 2006, 2009, 2011 and 2022, Pukkelpop in 2006, 2009 and 2022, Benicàssim in 2007, 2011 and 2013, Pinkpop in 2007 and 2014, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in 2007, and Rock en Seine at Saint-Cloud in 2011, 2014 and 2022.
They also played Primavera Sound in 2018, Mad Cool in 2018, Best Kept Secret in 2013 and 2018, Electric Picnic at Stradbally in 2013 and 2022, Oxegen at Punchestown in 2006 and 2011, Bilbao BBK Live in 2023 and Les Vieilles Charrues at Carhaix in 2014. No festival bookings have been announced for 2027.
Arctic Monkeys formed in Sheffield in 2002. The line-up is Alex Turner on vocals and guitar, Matt Helders on drums, Jamie Cook on guitar and Nick O'Malley on bass, who replaced the original bassist Andy Nicholson in 2006. They were among the first bands to build their audience through the internet, in the early days of the 'blog rock' era.
Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (2006) topped the UK chart and became the fastest-selling debut album in British chart history at the time; it and Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007) both won Best British Album at the Brit Awards. Humbug (2009) and Suck It and See (2011) also reached No. 1, although critics received them less warmly.
AM (2013), with 'Do I Wanna Know?', 'R U Mine?' and 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?', brought worldwide fame and went four times platinum in the United States. Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino (2018), a lounge-pop departure, was another UK No. 1, and The Car (2022) reached No. 2, behind Taylor Swift's Midnights.
The Car was nominated for the 2023 Mercury Prize, the band's fifth nomination, a record shared with Radiohead, and for a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album. In June 2023 they headlined Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage for the third time.

Paris has hosted Arctic Monkeys on every tour: L'Olympia in November 2005, Le Trabendo and Le Bataclan in 2006, the Élysée Montmartre in 2007, Le Zénith in 2007, 2009 (twice), 2012, 2013 (twice) and 2018 (twice), the Casino de Paris and L'Olympia in 2012, and two nights at the Accor Arena in May 2023.
France as a whole has been one of their strongest markets, with arena tours reaching Toulouse, Caen, Metz, Grenoble, Rennes and Montpellier, and open-air shows in Nîmes, Lyon and Aix-les-Bains.
Ireland closed The Car tour with three nights at the 3Arena on 15, 17 and 19 October 2023, the last of them with 22 songs. Dublin has followed the band since Whelan's in 2005, through the Ambassador Theatre in 2006, Malahide Castle in 2007, the O2 in 2009, Marlay Park in 2014 and the 3Arena in 2018.
Those October 2023 shows remain the band's last concerts anywhere in Europe.
Germany has hosted Arctic Monkeys more than any other continental country: clubs in Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Hamburg, Münster and Dresden in 2005 and 2006, the Columbiahalle in 2006, 2007, 2013 and 2018, and the 2023 arenas in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Oberhausen and Frankfurt.
Festivals add to the total, with Hurricane and Southside, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park and the Olympiapark in Munich in 2011.
Spain has seen the band at clubs, arenas and festivals since Razzmatazz in December 2005: the Palacio Vistalegre and Sant Jordi Club in 2010, the Palacio de Deportes and Palau Sant Jordi in 2012, Benicàssim, Primavera Sound, Mad Cool, Bilbao and two WiZink Center nights in July 2023.
Italy's highlights include Ferrara's Piazza Castello in 2007 and 2013, the Cavea in Rome in 2018, and Milan and Rome's Capannelle in July 2023.
The Car tour shows ran to 21 or 22 songs. In Dublin on 19 October 2023 the band opened with 'Sculptures of Anything Goes', 'Brianstorm' and 'Snap Out of It', played 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair', 'Teddy Picker', 'Crying Lightning', 'Arabella', 'Pretty Visitors', 'Fluorescent Adolescent', 'There'd Better Be a Mirrorball', '505', 'Do I Wanna Know?' and 'Body Paint', and closed with 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor', 'R U Mine?' and 'Perfect Sense'.
The set changed little across the 2023 European dates, mixing the band's whole catalogue with songs from The Car.
There are no Arctic Monkeys tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no concerts have been announced. Any site already selling seats or offering a presale code is not official.
When dates are confirmed, tickets will be sold through the official ticket outlet of each country, the venues' websites and the festivals' own sites. If a show sells out, use only the official resale platform of the country concerned.
