Cage The Elephant return to Europe in February 2027 with the Dying In Reverse Tour 2027. The continental leg opens at the Tempodrom in Berlin on Monday 8 February and runs through Poland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland to the Zénith in Paris on Saturday 20 February, before six British dates that end at Alexandra Palace in London on 1 March.
That makes nine continental concerts in thirteen days: Berlin, Kraków, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Milan, Lausanne and Paris. Every venue is confirmed, and they range from Klub Studio, a student-run hall in Kraków that holds about 1,500, to the Zénith in Paris, one of the largest concert halls in the French capital.
This page lists the dates and venues, a night-by-night view of the run, and the band's concerts in continental Europe as documented in the setlist.fm archive, from small Paris and Berlin clubs in spring 2008, when the Kentucky band had just moved to London, to the Neon Pill Tour of February 2025.
The Dying In Reverse Tour is the first European outing since the band signed with Big Loud Rock. On 10 July 2026 they announced the deal, released the single "Beaches in Tennessee" and said a new full-length album was in the works; the European tour in early 2027 was announced afterwards, and tickets have been on sale since 11 September 2026. No release date for the new album had been published as of 6 October 2026.
The run starts in Germany and Poland. After the Tempodrom in Berlin on Monday 8 February, the band play Klub Studio in Kraków on Tuesday 9 February, then come back west for the Sporthalle Hamburg on Thursday 11 February and the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf on Friday 12 February. De Roma, a restored 1920s cinema in Antwerp, follows on Saturday 13 February, and AFAS Live in Amsterdam on Monday 15 February.
The second week heads south: Fabrique in Milan on Wednesday 17 February, Les Docks in Lausanne on Thursday 18 February, and the Zénith in Paris on Saturday 20 February, the last continental show. The British leg starts at the Depot in Cardiff on 22 February and goes through Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester to Alexandra Palace on Monday 1 March 2027.
Compared with the Neon Pill Tour of February 2025, which played five continental cities (Cologne, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris), the 2027 route nearly doubles the number of countries. Kraków, Düsseldorf, Antwerp and Lausanne are new as headline stops, and Milan returns for the first time since January 2017. No support act had been named in the tour listings as of 6 October 2026.
The Tempodrom in Kreuzberg is a multi-purpose event hall and one of Berlin's mid-sized concert venues.
Klub Studio is the concert hall of the AGH University student housing complex on ul. Budryka in Kraków, run by a foundation of AGH students and alumni. A former cafeteria turned venue in 2004, it was modernised between 2016 and 2019 with a Corten steel façade and holds a little over 1,500 people.
The Sporthalle Hamburg in Winterhude, also called the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle, opened in 1968 and takes up to about 7,000 people.
The Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf dates from 1971 and holds about 7,500, a mid-sized hall between the clubs and the city's big domes.
De Roma in Borgerhout, Antwerp, opened in 1927 as an Art Deco cinema with about 2,000 seats, then the largest in the city, and hosted touring rock acts in the 1970s before closing in 1982. Listed as a monument in 2002, it was reopened by volunteers in 2003 as a concert and cultural venue.
AFAS Live stands near the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam and is a black-box concert hall with a capacity of about 6,000.
Fabrique is a Milan concert club that has hosted international tours such as Emeli Sandé's Long Live the Angels Tour, which stopped there on 5 April 2017. Cage The Elephant played their only Italian headline show in the setlist.fm archive there on 31 January 2017.
Les Docks was inaugurated on 1 December 2005 in the Sévelin district of Lausanne, close to the Flon. Its modular main room holds up to 1,020 people, alongside a bar and an exhibition gallery.
Le Zénith, in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, seats up to 6,293 people and is one of the city's largest concert halls. It was the first of the French 'Zénith' venues; the nearest stations are Porte de la Villette and Porte de Pantin.

Cage The Elephant's European story began almost by accident. After signing with the British label Relentless Records at South by Southwest in 2007, the band left Bowling Green, Kentucky, and moved to Leyton in east London; their debut album came out in the UK on 23 June 2008, ten months before its American release. The setlist.fm archive finds them on the continent that spring, playing Le Trabendo in Paris on 20 March 2008, the Lido in Berlin, the Molotow in Hamburg, X-TRA in Zurich, the Atomic Café in Munich and the small hall of Paradiso in Amsterdam on 25 April.
They kept coming back to clubs. In late 2008 they played 013 in Tilburg, Rotown in Rotterdam and Paradiso again, plus the Parc Expo near Rennes; in May 2009 a string of French dates took them to Roubaix, Saint-Brieuc, Saint-Laurent-de-Cuves and Le Trabendo. The Thank You, Happy Birthday summer of 2011 combined festivals with headline nights at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on 15 June, the Nouveau Casino in Paris, the Magnet Club in Berlin, the Luxor in Cologne and Paradiso on 22 June.
February 2014, during the Melophobia cycle, brought three intimate shows: La Maroquinerie in Paris on 18 February, Gebäude 9 in Cologne and the Lido in Berlin. Two years later, after Tell Me I'm Pretty, they played Le Trabendo, the Underground in Cologne, Paradiso's Oude Zaal and the Postbahnhof in Berlin in February 2016, and that August they reached Poland for the first time in the archive, at the aviation museum grounds in Kraków on 20 August 2016.
The winter tour of January 2017, weeks before the band's first Grammy, was a step up: the Grote Zaal of Paradiso on 24 January, the Élysée Montmartre in Paris the next night, the Columbia Theater in Berlin, the Technikum in Munich, Fabrique in Milan on 31 January and the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne, near Lyon, on 3 February. In October 2017 they opened for the Rolling Stones at the new U Arena in Nanterre, near Paris, on the No Filter Tour; the archive also shows them there on 22 and 25 October, with an acoustic "Live and Unpeeled" club show at Le Trabendo on 24 October in between.
The Social Cues era was interrupted. In June 2019 the band played festival stages at the Nürburgring, Pinkpop and the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg and a club show at Musik & Frieden in Berlin on 11 June, but dates from 12 to 20 June were cancelled after guitarist Nick Bockrath was injured. They came back in February and March 2020, with SWMRS supporting on the continental dates: L'Olympia in Paris on 24 February, the Live Music Hall in Cologne, the Astra in Berlin, Docks in Hamburg, Ronda in Utrecht and 013 in Tilburg on 2 March.
Their most recent continental visit was the European leg of the Neon Pill Tour, supported by Sunflower Bean, in February 2025: the Palladium in Cologne on 20 February, the Columbiahalle in Berlin on 21 February, AFAS Live in Amsterdam on 23 February, the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on 24 February and the Zénith in Paris on 26 February. The Neon Pill Tour as a whole sold more than 440,000 tickets, the highest-grossing tour of the band's career.
The table below lists 68 documented European concerts by Cage The Elephant between 2008 and 2025, with the most shows in Paris (11), Berlin (8), Amsterdam (7), Cologne (5), Hamburg (3), Nanterre (3). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (25 October 2017 to 26 February 2025), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Summer festivals have been a regular part of the band's European calendar. They played Pinkpop at Megaland in Landgraaf on 12 June 2011 and again on 8 June 2019, and The Barn, the tent stage at Rock Werchter, on 2 July 2017. The archive also records summer sets at the Walibi Holland site in Biddinghuizen in August 2011 and August 2014, at Domein Kiewit in Hasselt in 2014 and 2016, at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud near Paris in 2011 and 2014, at the Hockenheimring in 2014, at Gampel in Switzerland in 2011, and at the Sittertobel in St. Gallen, the Citadelle in Arras and De Groene Heuvels in Beuningen in summer 2017.
The Dying In Reverse Tour is a winter run of indoor headline shows, and no European festival appearances for summer 2027 had been announced as of 6 October 2026.
Cage The Elephant formed in Bowling Green, Kentucky, in 2006 around the brothers Matt Shultz (vocals) and Brad Shultz (guitar), with bassist Daniel Tichenor and drummer Jared Champion. Lincoln Parish played lead guitar until 2013; Nick Bockrath and Matthan Minster completed the current line-up. Their self-titled debut (2008) produced "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked", a UK top-40 single, and "Back Against the Wall", their first number 1 on the American alternative chart.
Thank You, Happy Birthday (2011), shaped by punk and by bands such as Pixies and Nirvana, debuted at number 2 in the United States and reached number 26 in the UK, its single "Shake Me Down" spending six weeks at the top of the alternative chart. Melophobia (2013) broadened the sound with psychedelic touches and gave them "Come a Little Closer" and "Cigarette Daydreams", which passed one billion Spotify streams in late 2024.
Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys produced Tell Me I'm Pretty (2015), which won the Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2017. Social Cues (2019), written after Matt Shultz's divorce and the deaths of close friends, won the same award in 2020. The band hardly toured in 2022 while Matt Shultz went through a severe mental health crisis; after his recovery they returned with Neon Pill (2024), whose title track, "Metaverse" and "Rainbow" all went to number 1 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart.
In late summer 2025 Cage The Elephant opened every North American stop of the Oasis Live '25 reunion tour, followed by their own autumn headline tour. In July 2026 they signed with Big Loud Rock and released "Beaches in Tennessee", the first song from their next album.
| Album | Year | Chart peak |
|---|---|---|
| Cage the Elephant | 2008 | UK 38 |
| Thank You, Happy Birthday | 2011 | UK 26 |
| Melophobia | 2013 | UK 117 |
| Tell Me I'm Pretty | 2015 | UK 135 |
| Social Cues | 2019 | UK 79 |

Paris is the city the band have played most on the continent. The archive lists eleven shows in the city itself, plus three at the U Arena in neighbouring Nanterre, starting at Le Trabendo in March 2008 and May 2009, then the Nouveau Casino in 2011, La Maroquinerie in 2014, Le Trabendo again in 2016, the Élysée Montmartre and the Alhambra in 2017, L'Olympia in February 2020 and the Zénith on 26 February 2025. In October 2017 they also played the U Arena in Nanterre as the Rolling Stones' opening act.
The 2027 show is a return to the Zénith in the Parc de la Villette, on Saturday 20 February. It is also the final continental date before the band cross to Cardiff two days later.
Poland gets an indoor headline date for the first time in the archive. The band's only Polish show so far was a festival set at the aviation museum grounds in Kraków on 20 August 2016. In 2027 they come back to the same city, to Klub Studio on Tuesday 9 February, the night after Berlin.
Klub Studio belongs to the AGH University student housing complex and was rebuilt between 2016 and 2019 with a new façade and acoustics. With room for a little over 1,500, it is one of the smallest rooms on the tour.
Germany has three dates. Berlin, on Monday 8 February, moves from the Columbiahalle in 2025 to the Tempodrom in Kreuzberg; the archive has the band in Berlin on every European tour since 2008, at the Lido, the Magnet Club, the Postbahnhof, the Columbia Theater, Musik & Frieden and the Astra. Hamburg, missing from the 2025 route, returns at the Sporthalle on 11 February after the Molotow in 2008, Uebel & Gefährlich in 2016 and Docks in 2020. Düsseldorf, on 12 February, is a new city; in the Rhineland the band had always played Cologne before.
Belgium also changes city. All the band's Belgian headline shows in the archive were in Brussels, at the Ancienne Belgique in 2011 and 2025; this time they play De Roma in Antwerp on Saturday 13 February. In the Netherlands, AFAS Live in Amsterdam on Monday 15 February repeats the venue of 23 February 2025, after years of Paradiso shows, Ronda in Utrecht and 013 in Tilburg.
The two southern dates are both small rooms. Fabrique in Milan, on Wednesday 17 February, is where the band played their only Italian headline show in the archive, on 31 January 2017. The next night they play Les Docks in Lausanne, a modular hall of about 1,000 that opened in 2005 near the Flon district.
Switzerland has seen the band in Zurich in 2008 and at festivals in Gampel in 2011 and St. Gallen in 2017, but Lausanne is a first in the archive and the only Swiss date of 2027.
The Neon Pill shows in Europe ran to 22 songs. At the Zénith in Paris on 26 February 2025 the band opened with "Broken Boy", "Cry Baby" and "Spiderhead", played "Too Late to Say Goodbye", "Good Time", "Cold Cold Cold", "Ready to Let Go", "Neon Pill", "Social Cues", "Mess Around", "Trouble", "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked", "Skin and Bones", "Rainbow", "Telescope", "House of Glass" and "Sabertooth Tiger", and finished with "Back Against the Wall", "Shake Me Down", "Cigarette Daydreams" and "Come a Little Closer".
The structure has been stable for several tours: the February 2020 set at L'Olympia started with the same three songs and also had "Come a Little Closer", "Shake Me Down" and "Cigarette Daydreams" in its closing stretch, with "Teeth", "Black Madonna" and "Tokyo Smoke" among the songs that were not in the 2025 set.
The 2027 set is likely to include "Beaches in Tennessee" and possibly other new songs, but no Dying In Reverse set list had been published as of 6 October 2026.
Tickets for the European dates of the Dying In Reverse Tour 2027 have been on sale since 11 September 2026 through the official ticketing outlets of each country. Germany, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland and France all have their own primary sellers, and each venue's website links to the correct one.
Several venues on this tour are small for a band of this size: Klub Studio in Kraków and Les Docks in Lausanne each hold well under 2,000 people, and De Roma in Antwerp was built with about 2,000 seats. If a show sells out, use the official resale service of the country concerned rather than social media offers.
There is no public Cage The Elephant presale code to buy or share, and codes advertised online are not genuine. The alert buttons on this page will tell you about returned tickets and any extra dates.
