Chris Stapleton has not announced any concerts in continental Europe or Ireland for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 his All-American Road Show is still on the road in North America, with its scheduled final show in Kansas City on 10 October 2026, and no European leg has been added for next year.
His European record is short but loyal. He has played the 3Arena in Dublin three times, in March 2016, March 2019 and October 2024, and two club shows in Germany in March 2016, at the Columbia Theater in Berlin and the Mojo Club in Hamburg. Everything else on this side of the Atlantic has been in the United Kingdom.
This page explains what is and is not announced, gives a full account of his concerts in continental Europe and Ireland, and looks at the songs, the collaborations and the chart history that have made the Kentucky singer one of the best-known names in modern country music in Europe.
There is no official information about Chris Stapleton concerts in Europe in 2027. His touring vehicle since May 2017, Chris Stapleton's All-American Road Show, has played 181 shows over seven legs. In 2025 it went to Australia and New Zealand as well as North America, and its 2026 dates have run in North America from January to October; recent stadium shows have included Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, SoFi Stadium, MetLife Stadium and Fenway Park.
Europe has so far had short visits rather than full legs. In March 2019 he played three arena dates in Glasgow, Dublin and London as part of the Country to Country festival, and in October 2024 he played five arena shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham and London. Neither run went beyond the British Isles.
Until an official announcement is made, treat any 2027 date list, ticket listing or 'presale code' for Chris Stapleton in Europe with suspicion. The alert on this page will tell you as soon as new European dates are confirmed.
Chris Stapleton's European story starts in March 2016, less than a year after his debut album Traveller and a few months after his breakthrough at the Country Music Association Awards in November 2015. That month he appeared on the main stage of the Country to Country festival, along with Andrew Combs, Kacey Musgraves and the headliner Eric Church.
The setlist archive records his 17-song set at the 3Arena in Dublin on 11 March 2016. He then crossed to Germany for two club shows: the Columbia Theater in Berlin on 16 March 2016 and the Mojo Club in Hamburg on 18 March 2016. They are still his only concerts in continental Europe.
He returned to Dublin on 9 March 2019, again as part of Country to Country, between nights at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on 8 March and The O2 in London on 10 March. The three dates had the same support line-up: Lyle Lovett, Ashley McBryde and Drake White. By then he had released From A Room: Volume 1 and Volume 2, and his 18-song Dublin set reflected both.
His most recent European concert was also in Dublin, at the 3Arena on 20 October 2024, the middle date of a five-show arena run that began at the AO Arena in Manchester on 16 October and the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on 17 October, where Marty Stuart opened, and ended at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on 22 October and The O2 in London on 23 October. The setlist archive files the Dublin show under the name All-American Road Show Goes Across The Pond. With 24 songs, it was his longest European set so far.
No dates in continental Europe were included in either the 2019 or the 2024 run. Fans in Germany, the Netherlands or Scandinavia who want to see him have had to travel to Dublin or Britain since 2016.

He has not played any of the major continental European festivals in the archive. No European festival booking had been announced for 2027 as of 6 October 2026.
Christopher Alvin Stapleton was born on 15 April 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in Staffordsville, near Paintsville, in a family of coal miners. In 1996 he moved to Nashville to study engineering at Vanderbilt University, but left to write songs, signing with the publisher Sea Gayle Music. Over the next decade he wrote more than a thousand songs, including six number ones on the Hot Country Songs chart for other artists, among them Kenny Chesney's 'Never Wanted Nothing More', Josh Turner's 'Your Man', George Strait's 'Love's Gonna Make It Alright' and Luke Bryan's 'Drink a Beer'.
He sang with the bluegrass band the SteelDrivers from 2007, whose two albums each reached number two on the bluegrass chart, and then with the Southern rock group the Jompson Brothers, before signing as a solo artist with Mercury Nashville in 2013. His debut album, Traveller, produced with Dave Cobb at RCA Studio A and released on 5 May 2015, went to number one on the Billboard 200. His duet with Justin Timberlake on 'Tennessee Whiskey' at the 2015 CMA Awards, where he won three awards, was considered a career-defining moment and lifted him to national prominence; the song later became the first country song certified double diamond in the United States.
From A Room: Volume 1 and Volume 2 followed in 2017, both debuting at number two in the US; 'Broken Halos' became his first number one on Country Airplay. Starting Over (2020), recorded with the former Heartbreakers Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench, won him a third Grammy for Best Country Album, and Higher (2023) included 'White Horse', his highest-charting solo single on the Hot 100.
With more than ten Grammy Awards, 15 CMA Awards and 11 ACM Awards, and the ACM's Artist-Songwriter of the Decade title in 2019, he is one of the most decorated artists in country music. Rolling Stone ranked him 170th on its 2023 list of the 200 greatest singers of all time. He has been married since 2007 to the singer-songwriter Morgane Stapleton, who sang harmonies on Traveller.
| Album | Year | Chart peak |
|---|---|---|
| Traveller | 2015 | UK 67 |
| From A Room: Volume 1 | 2017 | UK 22 |
| From A Room: Volume 2 | 2017 | UK 89 |
| Starting Over | 2020 | UK 31 |
| Higher | 2023 | UK 22 |
Ireland is the only place outside Britain where Chris Stapleton has played more than once, and every time it has been the 3Arena. The three nights, 11 March 2016, 9 March 2019 and 20 October 2024, trace the growth of his catalogue: 17 songs mostly from Traveller in 2016, 18 songs mixing Traveller and From A Room in 2019, and 24 songs in 2024, after Starting Over and Higher.
Some songs have been there every time: 'Midnight Train to Memphis', 'Nobody to Blame', 'Hard Livin'', 'Millionaire', 'Might as Well Get Stoned', 'Broken Halos', 'Second One to Know', 'Parachute', 'Tennessee Whiskey', 'Fire Away', 'Traveller' and 'Scarecrow in the Garden'.
The two German club shows of March 2016 are the only Chris Stapleton concerts in continental Europe in the archive. He played the Columbia Theater in Berlin on 16 March and the Mojo Club in Hamburg on 18 March, days after his first Dublin date and a few months after the CMA Awards had made him a star in America.
Germany has continued to buy his records since. Traveller reached number 53 on the German albums chart, Starting Over number 61 and Higher number 25, his best position there. No German date has been played since 2016.
Many European listeners know Chris Stapleton's work without knowing his name. He has been credited on albums by Adele, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift, has written with Ed Sheeran, and is credited as a vocalist on an alternative version of Adele's 'Easy on Me', from 30 (2021). In 2019 he wrote and sang 'Blow' with Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars, a song written in a basement in Nashville.
He also sang on 'I Bet You Think About Me' from Taylor Swift's Red (Taylor's Version), recorded 'I Want Love' for an Elton John and Bernie Taupin tribute album, and covered Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters' for The Metallica Blacklist in 2021. In 2019 he even appeared as an extra in 'The Long Night', an episode of the final season of Game of Thrones.
The 2016 Dublin set shows how much of Stapleton's later work was already in his live show. Alongside songs from Traveller, he played 'Broken Halos', 'Millionaire', 'Either Way' and 'Second One to Know', all of which were released the following year on From A Room. 'Either Way', written with Kendall Marvel and Tim James, had first been recorded by Lee Ann Womack in 2008.
In 2024 the songs he had not played at his earlier Dublin shows included 'White Horse', 'Crosswind', 'What Am I Gonna Do', 'Think I'm in Love With You', 'Joy of My Life', 'You Should Probably Leave', 'Cold' and 'Starting Over', together with 'What Are You Listening To?', his first single as a solo artist in 2013, which had not been a hit when it came out.
Every one of Chris Stapleton's European concerts has included 'Tennessee Whiskey', and the song explains why European audiences found him so quickly. His version of the song, popularised by David Allan Coe, was an album track on Traveller. At the CMA Awards in November 2015 he performed it with Justin Timberlake, together with Timberlake's 'Drink You Away', on the night he won Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year.
Music publications called the performance a career-defining moment. Four months later he was playing Dublin and Berlin for the first time. 'Tennessee Whiskey' went on to become the first country song certified double diamond in the United States, and it has closed or nearly closed his set at every European show in the archive.
His most recent European show, at the 3Arena in Dublin on 20 October 2024, ran to 24 songs: he opened with 'White Horse', 'Nobody to Blame', 'Second One to Know' and 'Millionaire', played 'Crosswind', 'Hard Livin'', 'Scarecrow in the Garden', 'Midnight Train to Memphis' and 'Might as Well Get Stoned', and closed with 'Broken Halos', 'Tennessee Whiskey' and 'Sometimes I Cry'.
The 2019 Dublin show was 18 songs long and opened with 'Midnight Train to Memphis'; it included 'Nobody's Lonely Tonight', 'Whiskey and You', 'More of You', 'I Was Wrong' and 'The Devil Named Music', and ended with 'Parachute', 'Tennessee Whiskey' and 'Scarecrow in the Garden'. The 2016 set followed a very similar running order.
Traveller was recorded with a live band of bass player J.T. Cure, whom he had known and played with for more than twenty years, pedal steel player Robby Turner, drummer Derek Mixon, Mickey Raphael on harmonica and Morgane Stapleton on harmonies, and he has stressed how much that line-up shaped the sound of his records.
