Depeche Mode have not announced any concerts in Europe for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, festival booking or one-off show in continental Europe or Ireland, and no new studio album has been announced. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore last played live on 8 April 2024 at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, the final night of the 112-show Memento Mori World Tour.
Since then the band's activity has been about looking back and giving back. Depeche Mode: M, a film built around their three concerts in Mexico City in September 2023, was released in cinemas on 28 October 2025, and the duo recorded a cover of Buffy Sainte-Marie's "Universal Soldier" for the War Child album Help(2), released on 6 March 2026.
Few bands have a European touring history as deep as Depeche Mode's. This page explains what is and is not known about 2027, then follows the band across the continent and Ireland from The Hague in July 1981 to the stadium summers of 2013, 2017 and 2023 and the long arena run that ended in Cologne.
There is no official information about Depeche Mode concerts in 2027. The Memento Mori World Tour, announced on 4 October 2022 together with the album, began in Sacramento on 23 March 2023 and ended in Cologne on 8 April 2024. It was the first tour by Gahan and Gore as a duo after the death of Andy Fletcher in May 2022.
The band's recent rhythm has been a new album roughly every four years, each followed by a world tour with a European stadium summer and a European arena leg: Delta Machine in 2013, Spirit in 2017 and Memento Mori in 2023. That pattern describes the past, not a plan. No new record and no 2027 dates have been announced.
When Depeche Mode do tour, Europe is the heart of it. On the Memento Mori tour the continent and Ireland received more than 50 shows, with multiple nights in Berlin, Cologne, Paris, Madrid, Prague, Łódź, Milan, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. Any future tour announcement would almost certainly put Germany at its centre, but nothing of the kind is official.
Until the band announces something, treat any 'presale code', ticket listing or leaked 2027 European itinerary for Depeche Mode as unreliable. The alert button on this page will tell you as soon as dates are confirmed.
Depeche Mode's first documented concert outside Britain was at the Zuiderparktheater in The Hague on 25 July 1981, a few months before Speak & Spell. The Grote Zaal in Amsterdam followed in September 1981. The Singles Tour of 1998 visited Bologna, Zaragoza and San Sebastián, and the Exciter Tour of 2001 Barcelona and Milan.

The Global Spirit Tour started in Stockholm on 5 May 2017, played the Olympiastadion in Berlin on 22 June, two nights at the HDI Arena in Hanover, the Stade de France and San Siro, then arenas through the winter and a festival summer in 2018 that ended with two nights at the Waldbühne in Berlin on 23 and 25 July 2018.
The Memento Mori World Tour reached Europe at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 16 May 2023. Its stadium leg included two nights at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, Malahide Castle near Dublin on 14 June, the Stade de France on 24 June, two nights at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, two at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on 7 and 9 July, the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, San Siro, Budapest, Prague, Warsaw and Kraków, ending at the Telenor Arena in Oslo on 11 August 2023. The arena leg began at the 3Arena in Dublin on 3 February 2024 and ended with three nights at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne on 3, 5 and 8 April 2024.
The table below lists 365 documented European concerts by Depeche Mode between 1981 and 2024, with the most shows in Berlin (19), Madrid (14), Paris (14), Barcelona (13), Dublin (11), Assago (10). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Concert data: setlist.fm
Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (20 February 2024 to 8 April 2024), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Depeche Mode mostly tour as headliners of their own shows, but the data includes some major festival sites. They played Torhout and Werchter in Belgium in July 1985, Werchter again in 2006 and 2013 and the TW Classic at the Werchter Festivalpark on 20 June 2009, Benicàssim on 23 July 2006, the Arvika Festival in Sweden on 3 July 2009 and Bilbao BBK Live at Monte Cobetas on 9 July 2009, a site they returned to in 2013 and 2017.
The 2018 summer leg of the Global Spirit Tour was built largely on festival and open-air dates: the Lővér Camping site at Sopron in Hungary, Odense, the Sittertobel in St. Gallen, Barolo in Piedmont, the Gdynia-Kosakowo airport in Poland, the Citadelle d'Arras, the Château de Beauregard, the shore of the Lac du Bourget at Aix-les-Bains, the Plaine de l'Asse at Nyon, the Vieilles Charrues site at Carhaix, Espacio Valdebebas in Madrid and the Longchamp racecourse in Paris. In 2023 they played the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona and Arganda del Rey near Madrid during their stadium leg.
Depeche Mode formed in Basildon, Essex, in 1980 with Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Vince Clarke. Clarke wrote most of their debut album, Speak & Spell (1981), then left at the end of that year to form Yazoo and later Erasure. Gore became the chief songwriter from A Broken Frame (1982), and Alan Wilder joined, completing the line-up that made Construction Time Again (1983) and Some Great Reward (1984).
Black Celebration (1986) and Music for the Masses (1987) made them one of the most popular alternative bands of the 1980s, and in June 1988 they drew more than 60,000 people to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Violator (1990), with "Personal Jesus" and "Enjoy the Silence", was their commercial peak in the United States, and Songs of Faith and Devotion (1993) went to No. 1 in the UK and Germany.
Wilder left in 1995. As a trio Gahan, Gore and Fletcher released Ultra (1997), Exciter (2001), Playing the Angel (2005), Sounds of the Universe (2009), Delta Machine (2013) and Spirit (2017). Germany became their strongest market: every studio album from Songs of Faith and Devotion to Spirit topped the German chart, and Memento Mori did the same in 2023.
Andy Fletcher died on 26 May 2022, aged 60. Gahan and Gore carried on as a duo, releasing Memento Mori in March 2023. The band have had 54 UK hit singles and 17 UK top-ten albums, have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.

Germany is Depeche Mode's biggest European market by some distance. From Songs of Faith and Devotion in 1993 to Memento Mori in 2023, every studio album has reached No. 1 there, and the Memento Mori tour played German stadiums in Leipzig, Munich, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Berlin in summer 2023 alone.
Berlin is a city apart in the band's story. They played the Deutschlandhalle in 1990, the Waldbühne in 1993 and 2018, the Olympiastadion in 2017 and twice in 2023, and the arena now known as the Uber Arena on several tours, with three nights there in February 2024. Cologne's Lanxess Arena hosted the final three nights of the Memento Mori tour.
France has been a stadium country for Depeche Mode since the 2010s. They played the Stade de France in Saint-Denis on 27 June 2009, 15 June 2013, 1 July 2017 and 24 June 2023, and the Stade Pierre-Mauroy near Lille in 2017 and 2023, the Groupama Stadium near Lyon and the Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux in 2023.
Indoors, Paris-Bercy, today the Accor Arena, has hosted the band since 1990: three nights on the World Violation Tour, two on the Devotional Tour, then in 2010 and 2014, twice in December 2017 and twice in March 2024.
Ireland was one of the first places Depeche Mode played outside Britain, with three nights in October 1982 at the National Stadium in Dublin, Cork City Hall and Leisureland in Galway, and the SFX Hall in Dublin in 1983 and 1984. Since then Dublin has seen them at the RDS in 1986, the Point Theatre in 1993 and 2006, and the same building as The O2 in 2013 and as the 3Arena in 2017 and 2024.
The open-air show at Malahide Castle on 14 June 2023 was their only Irish stadium-sized summer date of the Memento Mori era, and the 3Arena opened the European arena leg on 3 February 2024.
Depeche Mode have long had some of their most devoted audiences in Central and Eastern Europe. Budapest saw them in 1993, 2009, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2023 and 2024; Prague at Letná in 1993 and on almost every tour since 2009, including Letňany in July 2023 and two arena nights in February 2024; and Poland at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw in 2017 and 2023, the Tauron Arena in Kraków and the Atlas Arena in Łódź, where they played twice in 2024.
The 2018 summer also took them to Sopron in Hungary and Gdynia in Poland, and the 2023 stadium leg ended with Budapest, Prague, Warsaw and Kraków in quick succession before the final date in Oslo.
The Memento Mori shows ran to about 22 or 23 songs. In Cologne on 8 April 2024 the set opened with "My Cosmos Is Mine", "Wagging Tongue" and "Walking in My Shoes", passed through "It's No Good", "Policy of Truth", "In Your Room", "Everything Counts", "Precious" and "Ghosts Again", and ended with "Enjoy the Silence", "Waiting for the Night", "Just Can't Get Enough", "Never Let Me Down Again" and "Personal Jesus".
Gore's short acoustic or piano section changed from night to night: "Strangelove", "Somebody", "Home", "Heaven" and "Before We Drown" all appeared in the final week. Across the last 15 documented European shows, 14 songs, among them "Black Celebration", "Behind the Wheel", "I Feel You" and "A Pain That I'm Used To", were played every night.
No new show has been announced since the tour ended in Cologne, so the Memento Mori set remains the most recent picture of a Depeche Mode concert.
There are no Depeche Mode tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no concerts have been announced. Any site selling seats or offering a presale code is not official.
On recent tours, European sales opened country by country through official outlets, often after a presale for fans who registered or bought the album. If new dates are announced, use the official channels of the country and venue concerned and the official resale platform for returned tickets.
