Foo Fighters have not announced any concerts in Europe for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, festival headline slot or one-off show confirmed in continental Europe or Ireland. The only 2027 dates the band has announced are six stadium concerts in South America in February and March, from Belo Horizonte to Lima.
That gap follows a busy European summer. In June and July 2026 the Take Cover Tour played stadiums and open-air sites across the continent, including the Allianz Arena in Munich on 17 June, Paris La Défense Arena on 19 June, the Olympiastadion in Berlin on 1 July and the riverside Passeio Marítimo de Algés near Lisbon on 10 July. Before that, the band had played two small Irish shows in February 2026, in Dingle and at the Academy in Dublin.
This page sets out what is and is not known about Foo Fighters in Europe for 2027, and gives a full account of the band's history on the continent and in Ireland, from Pukkelpop and Lowlands in August 1995 to the stadium nights of 2026.
There is no official information about Foo Fighters concerts in Europe in 2027. The band's twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy, was released on 24 April 2026, and the European leg of the Take Cover Tour that followed it ended in Portugal on 10 July 2026. No further European leg has been announced since.
What has been confirmed for 2027 is in South America: Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte on 18 February, MorumBIS in São Paulo on 20 February, Estadio Centenario in Montevideo on 23 February, Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires on 25 February, Parque Estadio Nacional in Santiago on 28 February and Estadio San Marcos in Lima on 3 March 2027, with local bands opening in each city. Those dates say nothing about Europe either way, and nothing on this page should be read as a forecast.
The band's European pattern over three decades has been to come in summer, often mixing their own stadium shows with festival headline slots, and to return roughly every one or two years when a record is out. That is history, not an announcement. Until the band publishes dates, treat any list of 2027 European shows, any 'presale code' or any ticket listing with suspicion.

Foo Fighters reached mainland Europe within weeks of their debut album. The setlist archive shows Pukkelpop at Kiewit near Hasselt on 25 August 1995, Lowlands in Biddinghuizen on 27 August, a first Paris show at Le Bataclan on 29 August and an open-air date in Modena on 3 September. The first real European tour followed that autumn: Grosse Freiheit 36 in Hamburg, Berlin, Stuttgart, Munich, Sala Zeleste in Barcelona and Sala Aqualung in Madrid, two more nights at the Bataclan on 5 and 6 November, Brussels, Amsterdam and two nights at the SFX Hall in Dublin on 17 and 18 November 1995.
The Colour and the Shape brought Taylor Hawkins into the band and more European touring. In 1997 they played L'Arapaho in Paris in May, Lowlands, Pukkelpop and Semple Stadium in Thurles in August, then a club and theatre run in November and December: Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin, the Zénith de Nancy, Barcelona, Madrid, the Vidia club in Cesena, Propaganda in Milan, Le Dôme in Marseille and Le Liberté in Rennes. Lisbon and the Coliseu do Porto followed in June 1998, and in November 1999 the band played Paris-Bercy.
The arena years started with One by One. In November and December 2002 the band played the Point Theatre in Dublin, the Halles de Schaerbeek in Brussels, the Color Line Arena in Hamburg, Arena Berlin, the Palladium in Cologne, the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, Milan, the Transbordeur in Lyon, Razzmatazz in Barcelona and the Bataclan again on 15 December 2002. In Your Honor was toured indoors in early 2006: Milan on 23 January, the Zenith in Munich, the Zénith in Paris on 28 January, Forest National in Brussels, the Heineken Music Hall and Hamburg's Alsterdorfer Sporthalle on 2 February 2006.
From Wasting Light onwards the European shows moved outdoors and grew. Summer 2011 took in the Fiera Milano arena, the Kindl-Bühne Wuhlheide in Berlin on 18 June, the Palacio de Deportes in Madrid on 6 July, Punchestown Racecourse in Ireland, the Lanxess Arena in Cologne on 23 August and the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud near Paris on 26 August. The band also played Copenhagen, the Stockholm Olympic Stadium, the Telenor Arena near Oslo and Helsinki that June. In August 2012 they returned for Villa Manin near Udine, the O2 Arena in Prague, Pukkelpop and Lowlands.
The Sonic Highways tour reached Ireland and the continent in 2015 with Slane Castle on 30 May, Hamburg, the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg and the Mendig airfield. On 12 June 2015, at Ullevi in Gothenburg, Dave Grohl fell from the stage during the second song and broke his leg; he finished the show seated while a medic treated him, and the remaining European dates were cancelled. The band came back in November 2015 for Cesena, Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, the Lanxess Arena, Berlin's Mercedes-Benz Arena, Kraków, Vienna and the Unipol Arena near Bologna.
Concrete and Gold was toured in Europe over two summers. In 2017 the band played Helsinki, Budapest, Prague, Gdynia, Roskilde, Werchter, the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on 3 July, the Caja Mágica in Madrid, Algés, Berlin and BARTS in Barcelona. In June 2018 they played the Nürburgring and the Zeppelinfeld, Ullevi again, Hamburg's Trabrennbahn, the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, the Stade de Suisse in Bern, Florence, Landgraaf and Brétigny-sur-Orge. After Taylor Hawkins died in March 2022, the band returned to Europe in June 2023 with Josh Freese on drums, and in summer 2024 played Clisson, Gdynia, Roskilde and Werchter. The 2026 Take Cover Tour, with Ilan Rubin on drums, ran from Oslo on 10 June to Algés on 10 July 2026.
The table below lists 177 documented European concerts by Foo Fighters between 1995 and 2026, with the most shows in Paris (12), Berlin (10), Dublin (10), Cologne (9), Hamburg (7), Amsterdam (7). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (21 August 2019 to 10 July 2026), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Festivals have been central to Foo Fighters' European story. In the Netherlands they have played Lowlands in Biddinghuizen in 1995, 1997, 2003, 2005 and 2012, and Pinkpop at Megaland in Landgraaf in 2008, 2011, 2018 and 2026. In Belgium they have played Pukkelpop at Kiewit in 1995, 1997, 2003 and 2012 and Rock Werchter in 1996, 2005, 2017 and 2024.
Germany adds the twin festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park (at the Nürburgring, Mendig in 2015, and the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg), as well as Hurricane at the Eichenring in Scheeßel and Southside at Neuhausen ob Eck in 2008, 2011 and 2019. In Ireland the band played the Oxegen site at Punchestown in 2005 and 2011, and in France they have played Rock en Seine at Saint-Cloud in 2005 and 2011 and Hellfest in Clisson on 30 June 2024.
Further south, they have played the Passeio Marítimo de Algés near Lisbon, home of NOS Alive (called Optimus Alive until 2014), in 2011, 2017 and 2026, Paredes de Coura in 2005 and Mad Cool in Madrid in 2017, and in the north Roskilde in Denmark in 2017 and 2024.
Foo Fighters began as a one-man project by Dave Grohl, the former Nirvana drummer, who recorded the 1995 debut album largely alone in a few days after Nirvana ended in 1994. He then formed a band with bassist Nate Mendel, drummer William Goldsmith and guitarist Pat Smear, and the group played its first show in February 1995. Taylor Hawkins joined in 1997, and Chris Shiflett completed the line-up in 1999.
The band's albums have charted strongly in the UK and Europe. One by One (2002) was their first UK No. 1, and Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007), Wasting Light (2011), Concrete and Gold (2017), Medicine at Midnight (2021) and But Here We Are (2023) also topped the UK chart. Wasting Light, produced by Butch Vig, marked Pat Smear's return as a full member, and Concrete and Gold was the first album with keyboardist Rami Jaffee as an official member.
Taylor Hawkins died in Bogotá on 25 March 2022, and the band cancelled its remaining dates that year, playing tribute concerts at Wembley Stadium in London and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles that September. Josh Freese was announced as the new drummer in May 2023, and But Here We Are followed on 2 June 2023, described as a response to what the band had been through. In 2025 Ilan Rubin, formerly Nine Inch Nails' touring drummer, joined; his first show with the band was in San Luis Obispo, California, on 13 September 2025.
Your Favorite Toy, the twelfth album, came out on 24 April 2026 and reached No. 2 in the UK. Foo Fighters have won 15 Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album five times, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021, their first year of eligibility.

In July 2015 about a thousand Italian musicians gathered in Cesena for the Rockin' 1000 event and played 'Learn to Fly' together, with a request for Foo Fighters to come and play the town. The video spread around the world and impressed Dave Grohl.
The band answered by booking the Carisport in Cesena on 3 November 2015, the first night of their autumn European run. It is one of the few times a European city has effectively talked a band into a concert, and Cesena already had a link to the group: they had played the Vidia club there on 1 December 1997.
Ullevi in Gothenburg has a special place in the band's European history. On 12 June 2015, during the second song, Dave Grohl fell from the stage and broke his leg. The band played on while he was treated, and he returned to finish the concert from a chair.
He was flown to London for surgery afterwards, and the rest of the European dates that summer were cancelled. The band went back to Ullevi on 5 June 2018 on the Concrete and Gold tour.
Paris has seen Foo Fighters in almost every size of room. They played Le Bataclan in August 1995, two more nights there in November 1995 and again on 15 December 2002, as well as L'Arapaho in May 1997 and Le Trabendo in September 2002. The bigger venues followed: Paris-Bercy in November 1999, the Zénith on 28 January 2006, the AccorHotels Arena on 3 July 2017 and the Brétigny-sur-Orge air base on 17 June 2018.
The most recent Paris show was the largest: Paris La Défense Arena on 19 June 2026, with 27 songs on the night.
Ireland has been a regular stop since the two SFX Hall nights in Dublin in November 1995. The band has played the Point Theatre in 1996, 2002 and 2005, the Olympia Theatre in December 2000, Slane Castle in 2003 and 2015, Marlay Park in 2007, Punchestown in 2005 and 2011 and the RDS Arena on 21 August 2019.
In February 2026 they did something different: a small show at St James' Church in Dingle on 22 February and a club night at the Academy in Dublin on 23 February, before the album came out.
Germany has hosted more Foo Fighters concerts than any other country on the continent in the setlist archive. Berlin alone has seen them at Arena Berlin, Huxleys, the Wuhlheide, the Mercedes-Benz Arena and, on 1 July 2026, the Olympiastadion; Cologne at the Live Music Hall, the E-Werk, the Palladium, the Gloria and the Lanxess Arena.
The 2026 tour also took the band to the Allianz Arena in Munich on 17 June, after earlier Munich shows at the Charterhalle in 1995 and the Zenith in 2006 and 2007.
The 2026 European shows ran to between 24 and 27 songs. In Munich on 17 June the band opened with 'All My Life', 'The Pretender' and 'Times Like These', played 'Rope', 'Stacked Actors', 'My Hero', 'Learn to Fly', 'Walk', 'This Is a Call' and 'Monkey Wrench', added the new title track 'Your Favorite Toy' and 'Caught in the Echo', and finished with 'Best of You', 'The Teacher' and 'Everlong'.
Night to night the middle of the set moved: Paris on 19 June included 'For All the Cows', while Algés on 10 July had 'Run' and 'The Sky Is a Neighborhood'. The Dublin club show of 23 February 2026 was a 21-song set with 'Of All People', 'White Limo' and 'Hey, Johnny Park!'.
At festivals the set is usually a little shorter: at Rock Werchter on 7 July 2024 the band played 21 songs, opening with 'All My Life' and closing, as usual, with 'Everlong'.
There are no Foo Fighters tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no European concerts have been announced. Any site selling seats or offering a 'presale code' for 2027 European dates is not official.
When the band does announce European shows, tickets are sold country by country through the official ticket outlet of each venue or promoter, often after a fan presale. Buy only through the links on the band's announcement or the venue's own website, and if you need to resell, use the official resale platform of the country concerned.
