Green Day have not announced any concerts in Europe for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, festival headline slot or one-off show confirmed in continental Europe or Ireland, and no new studio album has been announced to follow Saviors (2024).
The band's most recent European dates came in summer 2025, on the second European leg of the Saviors Tour: Florence, Southside, Hurricane, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 2 July, Rock Werchter on 4 July and a final European show in Athens on 6 July 2025. The tour itself ended in San Bernardino, California, on 30 September 2025.
This page sets out what is and is not known about Green Day in Europe for 2027 and tells the long story of the band on the continent and in Ireland, from a squat-and-club tour of Spain in November 1991 to stadium-sized festival headline sets more than thirty years later.
There is no official information about Green Day concerts in Europe in 2027. Since the Saviors Tour ended, the band's public appearances have been in North America: they played the opening ceremony of Super Bowl LX on 8 February 2026, and on 7 July 2026 they released 'I'm Never Gonna R.I.P.', a new song for the soundtrack of the film Nimrods.
A new song is not a new tour. Green Day have usually returned to Europe a year or so after a studio album, with an arena run in winter or a festival-and-stadium run in summer, but neither pattern amounts to an announcement. The 2024 and 2025 European legs of the Saviors Tour already covered Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Scandinavia, Luxembourg and Greece.
Until the band publishes dates, treat any list of 2027 European shows, any 'presale code' or any ticket listing with suspicion. Festival line-up rumours also circulate every winter; only an announcement by the band or the festival itself counts.

Green Day toured Europe long before Dookie. In November 1991 they played a run of small venues in Spain, from the Cafe Panama in Llodio and the Gaztetxe in Andoain to the Revolver Club in Madrid, Zaragoza, La Bàscula in Barcelona and Valencia, then Belgium and the Netherlands and a show at The Attic in Dublin on 15 December 1991. In January 1992 they played Dutch clubs in Groningen, Leeuwarden, Leiden, 's-Hertogenbosch and the Melkweg in Amsterdam, and in spring 1993 they were back in Spain, from Barcelona's Garatge Club to Vigo, Avilés and Andoain.
Dookie brought them back in 1994, to Doornroosje in Nijmegen, the Melkweg, Bloom in Mezzago and another Spanish tour in June, then Leuven and L'Arapaho in Paris in October. The Insomniac era took in Lowlands on 27 August 1995, the Forum di Assago near Milan, the Élysée Montmartre in Paris and Deinze in September 1995, and Italian arenas in Turin, Florence, Rome and Modena in March 1996. For Nimrod they played the Élysée Montmartre again, the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Milan, Madrid and Barcelona in February 1998, followed by German festivals, Lowlands and Pukkelpop that August.
The Warning tour of late 2000 played the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Marino near Rome, Florence, Milan's PalaVobis, Munich, Cologne and the Point Theatre in Dublin on 11 December 2000. Then came American Idiot, which changed the scale: arenas in January 2005 (Arena Berlin, the Heineken Music Hall, Offenbach, Böblingen, the FilaForum near Milan, the Zénith in Paris on 19 January, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and the Point in Dublin), and in summer 2005 Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Prague, the Spodek in Katowice, Budapest, two nights at the Madrid Arena, the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, Rock Werchter, Roskilde, the Ahoy in Rotterdam and Oxegen in Ireland.
The 21st Century Breakdown tour opened its European leg in Lisbon on 28 September 2009 and played 21 arena dates through to Turin on 12 November, including Paris-Bercy on 4 October, the Lanxess Arena, the O2 World in Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, the Ahoy, the Sportpaleis in Antwerp and the O2 in Dublin. In summer 2010 the band moved up to stadiums and parks: Pinkpop, Hanover, Ullevaal in Oslo, Ullevi in Gothenburg, Helsinki, the Olympia-Reitstadion in Munich, Nova Rock, Marlay Park in Dublin on 23 June, the Parc des Princes in Paris on 26 June 2010, Prague, Mainz and Werchter.
The 99 Revolutions tour of 2013 played open-air shows in Milan, Trieste's Piazza Unità d'Italia, Vienna, the Ippodromo delle Capannelle in Rome and Bologna, festivals in Germany and the Netherlands, the Atlas Arena in Łódź, Helsinki, Norrköping, Oslo and Copenhagen, the Citadelle d'Arras, Montreux, the Piazza Grande in Locarno, the Arena of Nîmes on 10 July, Algés and Bilbao. Revolution Radio was toured in arenas in January and February 2017, from Turin to the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on 3 February, and at festivals that summer, ending at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin and Mad Cool in Madrid on 7 July 2017.
The Hella Mega Tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer reached Europe in June and July 2022, with stadium and park shows in Vienna, Antwerp, Groningen, Marlay Park and Paris La Défense Arena on 2 July. In November 2023 the band played two club shows, Le Bataclan in Paris and Magazzini Generali in Milan. The Saviors Tour opened in Santiago de Compostela on 30 May 2024 and played Madrid's Caja Mágica, Lyon's LDLC Arena, Rock im Park, Rock am Ring, the Waldbühne in Berlin, Hamburg, Milan, the Accor Arena in Paris on 18 June, the GelreDome in Arnhem and Marlay Park on 27 June 2024, before the 2025 leg described above.
The table below lists 237 documented European concerts by Green Day between 1991 and 2025, with the most shows in Paris (13), Milan (12), Dublin (11), Madrid (11), Berlin (10), Amsterdam (6). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (1 June 2024 to 4 July 2025), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Green Day are a fixture of the big European festivals. In the Netherlands they have played Lowlands in Biddinghuizen in 1995 and 1998 and Pinkpop in Landgraaf in 2010, 2013 and 2017; in Belgium Pukkelpop in 1998 and Rock Werchter in 2005, 2010, 2013 and 2025. In Germany they have played Rock am Ring at the Nürburgring and Rock im Park at the Zeppelinfeld in 2005, 2013, 2022 and 2024, and Hurricane at Scheeßel and Southside at Neuhausen ob Eck in 2017 and 2025.
Further afield the band has played Roskilde in 2005, Nova Rock in Austria in 2005, 2010, 2017 and 2024, Oxegen at Punchestown in 2005, the Heineken Jammin' Festival at Imola in 2005, Rock en Seine at Saint-Cloud on 26 August 2012, the Algés riverside site of the Alive festival near Lisbon in 2013, Download's Paris edition at Brétigny-sur-Orge in 2017 and Mad Cool in Madrid in 2017.
Green Day formed in Rodeo, California, in 1987, led by singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt; drummer Tré Cool joined in 1990. Part of the Bay Area punk scene around 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley, they released 39/Smooth (1990) and Kerplunk (1991) on Lookout! Records before signing with Reprise.
Dookie (1994) was the breakthrough, shipping more than 20 million copies in the United States and reaching No. 13 in the UK. Insomniac (1995), Nimrod (1997) and Warning (2000) kept the band in the charts, and American Idiot (2004), a rock opera, gave them their first UK No. 1 and a new, younger audience. It later became a Broadway musical.
21st Century Breakdown (2009) also topped the UK chart. The 2012 trilogy ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré! was released over four months and sold less than expected, partly because Armstrong entered rehab. Revolution Radio (2016), Father of All Motherfuckers (2020) and Saviors (2024) each reached No. 1 in the UK.
Green Day were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015, their first year of eligibility. In 2025 they released a deluxe edition of Saviors, headlined Coachella, and kept the Saviors Tour on the road until 30 September 2025; it finished after 88 shows.

Spain was Green Day's first real European home. The setlist archive lists more than a dozen Spanish shows before Dookie became a hit: Llodio, Andoain, Madrid, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Valencia in 1991; Barcelona, Vila-real, Madrid, Vigo, Avilés, Andoain, Llodio and Zaragoza in 1993; and Oviedo, Zaragoza, Manises, Madrid, Deba and Barcelona in 1994.
The link has lasted. The Saviors Tour began its world run in Santiago de Compostela on 30 May 2024, followed by the Caja Mágica in Madrid on 1 June. Madrid has also seen the band at La Riviera, the Madrid Arena, the Palacio de Deportes and Mad Cool.
Italy has been one of the band's steadiest markets. They played Italian arenas in March 1996, December 2000, November 2009 and January 2017, when the Revolution Radio tour visited Turin, Florence, Bologna and Assago on four nights in five days.
Summer shows in Italy have often been in remarkable settings: the Piazza Unità d'Italia in Trieste on 25 May 2013, the Ippodromo delle Capannelle in Rome, the Piazza Napoleone in Lucca on 14 June 2017 and the Autodromo of Monza the next day. Florence's Visarno Arena hosted them in 2022 and again on 15 June 2025.
Paris first saw Green Day at L'Arapaho in October 1994. They then played the Élysée Montmartre in 1995, 1997 and 1998, the Zénith in January 2005, Paris-Bercy on 4 October 2009, the Parc des Princes on 26 June 2010, the AccorHotels Arena on 3 February 2017, Paris La Défense Arena on 2 July 2022 and the Accor Arena on 18 June 2024.
In between came a club show at Le Bataclan on 4 November 2023, a few months before Saviors was released, where the band played the new songs '1981', 'Look Ma, No Brains!' and 'The American Dream Is Killing Me'.
Ireland has followed every step of the band's growth: The Attic in December 1991, the SFX Hall in 1998, the Point Theatre in 2000 and 2005, the Ambassador Theatre in 2004, the O2 in October 2009 and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on 29 June 2017.
Marlay Park in south Dublin has become the band's Irish summer venue: they played there on 23 June 2010, 27 June 2022 and 27 June 2024.
The 2024 European shows were among the longest the band has played, at up to 37 songs. In Paris on 18 June 2024 the set opened with 'The American Dream Is Killing Me', then ran through Dookie in album order from 'Burnout' to 'F.O.D.' and the hidden track 'All by Myself', added songs from Saviors and older hits such as 'Know Your Enemy' and 'Brain Stew', and then played American Idiot from 'American Idiot' and 'Jesus of Suburbia' to 'Whatsername', before closing with 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)'.
The 2025 festival sets were shorter and built as a greatest-hits show. At Rock Werchter on 4 July 2025 the band played 22 songs, opening with 'American Idiot' and 'Holiday' and including 'Longview', 'Welcome to Paradise', 'Basket Case', 'When I Come Around', '21 Guns', 'Wake Me Up When September Ends', 'Jesus of Suburbia', 'Saviors' and 'Bobby Sox', with 'Good Riddance' at the end.
The club shows of November 2023 were different again: at Le Bataclan the band played 26 songs, mixing new material with rarer songs such as 'Stuart and the Ave.', 'Christie Road' and 'Warning'.
