J Balvin has not announced any concerts in continental Europe or Ireland for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, festival booking or one-off European show on record for the Colombian singer, and his touring plans for 2026 have centred on Colombia with the Ciudad Primavera Tour. Anything presented as a confirmed 2027 European date is, for now, unofficial.
Europe has nevertheless become one of the most regular stops in his career. Since his first club shows on the continent in November 2016, he has played Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich, moved up from 1,000-capacity rooms to the Accor Arena, the Ziggo Dome and the Lanxess Arena, and headlined some of the biggest summer festivals on the continent. His most recent European arena tour, the Que Bueno Volver a Verte Tour, came through in April and May 2024, and he returned for festivals in the summer of 2025.
This page sets out what is and is not known about J Balvin and Europe in 2027, and then tells the story of his concerts on the continent: the Energía Tour club dates of 2016 and 2017, the festival summers of 2019, 2023 and 2025, the 2024 arena run and the Madrid crowds that have followed him from the WiZink Center to Iberdrola Music.
There is no official J Balvin Europe Tour 2027. No promoter has listed a European date, no venue in the European Union, Switzerland, Norway or Ireland has a J Balvin show on sale, and no festival line-up for summer 2027 published so far includes him. The touring that has been announced for 2026 is the Ciudad Primavera Tour in Colombia, his home country.
The release pattern matters for what may come next. J Balvin put out Rayo in August 2024 and Mixteip in 2025, and the Wikipedia discography also lists Omertà, a collaborative album with the Medellín singer Ryan Castro, in 2026. His European tours have usually followed new music: the Energía Tour after Energía in 2016, the Vibras festival summer of 2018, and the 2024 arena run after the singles that led into Rayo. A tour for the newest records would fit that habit, but nothing has been confirmed.
His European calendar has also shown that he often comes back in summer rather than in winter. In 2019, 2023 and 2025 his continental shows were mostly open-air dates in June and July, at festivals in Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands. Festival line-ups for 2027 are announced through the autumn and winter, so any booking would appear there first.
Until something is announced through official channels, treat any '2027 European tour poster', ticket listing or 'presale code' for J Balvin with suspicion. When dates are confirmed, this page will be updated with cities, venues and on-sale information.
J Balvin's first concerts in continental Europe came on the Energía Tour, shortly after the album of the same name. In November 2016 he played the Grote Zaal in Amsterdam on 8 November, the Fabrique in Milan on 10 November and the Essigfabrik in Cologne on 12 November, small club rooms where he was still introducing himself to European audiences. A few weeks later he appeared on Spanish television on La Voz in Madrid and at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, and in February 2016 he had already sung on the stage of the Teatro Ariston during the Sanremo festival.
The second Energía leg, in May 2017, showed how fast things were moving. It took him to the Atlantico Live in Rome on 10 May, the Tonhalle in Munich on 12 May, the Columbiahalle in Berlin on 15 May, the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen on 16 May, Vorst Nationaal (Forest National) in Brussels on 17 May, L'Olympia in Paris on 19 May, the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona on 21 May and the WiZink Center in Madrid on 22 May. 'Mi Gente' was released a month later, at the end of June 2017. In January 2018 he came back to play the Zénith in Paris on 25 January and AFAS Live in Amsterdam on 26 January, and visited the Operación Triunfo academy in Terrassa.
The summer of 2018, in the Vibras era, was his first big European festival season: the ArenaPark in Amsterdam on 1 July and the Herdade da Casa Branca at Zambujeira do Mar, in the Odemira municipality in southern Portugal, on 8 August. The summer of 2019 was larger still. He played the Expo-Plaza in Hanover on 25 May, the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona on 1 June, the Parque da Cidade in Porto on 7 June, Megaland in Landgraaf on 9 June, the Ippodromo del Galoppo di San Siro in Milan on 14 June, the Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris on 23 June, Pacha in Ibiza on 25 June, the Alter Rebstockpark in Frankfurt on 5 July and De Schorre in Boom on 21 and 28 July.
After the pandemic years he returned in July 2022, with shows at the Zuiderpark in The Hague on 2 July and at Kobetamendi in Bilbao on 9 July, listed under the José Tour name although the full José Tour was cancelled. The summer of 2023 brought another run of open-air dates: the Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris on 24 June, the Estadio La Cartuja in Seville on 30 June, the Ciudad del Rock at Arganda del Rey near Madrid on 1 July, Parc Rocourt in Liège on 8 July, the Assago Summer Arena near Milan on 11 July and Vila Nova de Gaia near Porto on 15 July.
The Que Bueno Volver a Verte Tour of spring 2024 was his first proper European arena tour. It opened at the Festhalle in Frankfurt on 26 April 2024 and continued to the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, near Milan, on 1 May, the Uber Arena in Berlin on 6 May, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 8 May, the Lanxess Arena in Cologne on 21 May, the Accor Arena in Paris on 22 May, the ING Arena in Brussels on 24 May, the Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona near Barcelona on 28 May and the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid on 31 May, before a final date at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés, outside Lisbon, on 1 June.
His most recent European concerts came in the summer of 2025, on the Back to the Rayo run: the Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni near Milan on 25 June, Les Jardins du Lydia in Le Barcarès on 27 June, the Plaine de la Filhole in Marmande on 4 July and Parc Rocourt in Liège on 6 July. He closed that European year with a 31-song headline set at Iberdrola Music in Madrid on 12 September 2025, the last continental show in the setlist archive.
The table below lists 51 documented European concerts by J Balvin between 2016 and 2025, with the most shows in Paris (6), Amsterdam (4), Madrid (3), Liège (2), Cologne (2), Berlin (2). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (5 July 2019 to 12 September 2025), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Festivals are the backbone of J Balvin's European history. Wikipedia notes that he was the first Latin artist to headline events such as Tomorrowland, Coachella and Lollapalooza, and the Tomorrowland site at De Schorre in Boom, Belgium, saw him on both weekends in July 2019, on 21 and 28 July. The same summer he played the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, home of Primavera Sound, on 1 June 2019, the Parque da Cidade in Porto a week later, and Megaland in Landgraaf, the site of Pinkpop, on 9 June.
Belgium has become a summer habit: Parc Rocourt in Liège welcomed him on 8 July 2023 and again on 6 July 2025. In France he has played the Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris in 2019 and 2023, Marmande and Le Barcarès in 2025. In Portugal his open-air history runs from Zambujeira do Mar in 2018 to Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia and Algés. If he returns to Europe in 2027, the summer festival circuit is the most likely place to see him first.
José Álvaro Osorio Balvín was born in Medellín on 7 May 1985. As a teenager he spent time in Oklahoma on an English exchange programme and then in New York, before returning to Colombia, studying international business at EAFIT University and building a following in Medellín's urban clubs. He released his first song, 'Panas', in 2004 and signed with EMI Colombia in 2009.
His breakthrough came in 2014 with '6 AM', featuring Farruko, and 'Ay Vamos', which won the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Song and became the first reggaeton video to pass one billion views on YouTube. Energía (2016), with 'Bobo', 'Safari' and 'Sigo Extrañándote', was his first No. 1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. 'Mi Gente' with Willy William topped Spotify's Global Top 50 on 1 August 2017, and a remix with Beyoncé gave him his first US top-ten single.
Vibras (2018) followed, then 'I Like It' with Cardi B and Bad Bunny, a US Billboard Hot 100 No. 1. With Bad Bunny he released the joint album Oasis in June 2019; Colores (2020) had a song named after a colour for almost every track and artwork by Takashi Murakami. He was a guest at the Super Bowl LIV half-time show with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, and 'Con altura' with Rosalía won a Latin Grammy. José came in 2021, Rayo in August 2024 and Mixteip in 2025.
J Balvin has sold an estimated 35 million records and has won six Latin Grammy Awards, eleven Billboard Latin Music Awards and five MTV Video Music Awards. He holds the record for the most No. 1 songs on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart, Time named him among the 100 most influential people in 2020, and Guinness World Records has described him as the leader of a second-generation reggaeton revolution. He has insisted on singing almost entirely in Spanish, which makes his European following all the more striking.

No European country has seen J Balvin as often as Spain. The setlist archive counts Madrid shows at the Barclaycard Center in 2015, La Voz in 2016, the WiZink Center in May 2017, the Ciudad del Rock at Arganda del Rey in 2023, the Palacio Vistalegre on 31 May 2024 and Iberdrola Music on 12 September 2025. Barcelona has had him at the Palau Sant Jordi, the Sant Jordi Club, the Parc del Fòrum and, in 2024, the Pavelló Olímpic in Badalona.
Beyond the two big cities, he has played Bilbao in 2022, Seville's La Cartuja stadium in 2023, Santiago de Compostela in 2024 and Pacha in Ibiza in 2019. Spain is also the market where Latin music has broken through most clearly in Europe, and where a 2027 return would be the most natural.
Paris tracks his rise neatly. He played L'Olympia on 19 May 2017, the Zénith on 25 January 2018 and the Hippodrome de Longchamp in the summers of 2019 and 2023, before headlining the Accor Arena on 22 May 2024 with a 29-song set that opened with 'Mi gente' and closed with 'RITMO (Bad Boys for Life)', 'Qué calor' and 'In da Getto'.
French fans have also had him on stage at the Accor Arena in January 2024 and Paris La Défense Arena in January 2025, both shorter appearances of a handful of songs, and at two French summer festivals in 2025, in Le Barcarès and Marmande.
Germany has seen J Balvin grow from clubs to arenas: the Essigfabrik in Cologne in 2016, the Tonhalle in Munich, the Columbiahalle in Berlin and the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen in 2017, open-air dates in Hanover and Frankfurt in 2019, then the Festhalle in Frankfurt, the Uber Arena in Berlin and the Lanxess Arena in Cologne in spring 2024.
The Netherlands and Belgium followed the same path. Amsterdam went from the Grote Zaal in 2016 to AFAS Live in 2018 and the Ziggo Dome on 8 May 2024; Brussels from Forest National in 2017 to the ING Arena on 24 May 2024, with Tomorrowland and Liège's Parc Rocourt in between.
Italy first saw him on television at Sanremo in 2016, then at the Fabrique in Milan and the Atlantico Live in Rome on the Energía Tour. Milan has remained his Italian base: the San Siro racecourse in 2019, the Assago Summer Arena in 2023, the Mediolanum Forum on 1 May 2024 and the Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni on 25 June 2025.
Portugal has had him only in summer, at Zambujeira do Mar in 2018, Porto in 2019, Vila Nova de Gaia in 2023 and the waterfront at Algés, near Lisbon, on 1 June 2024, the last stop of the Que Bueno Volver a Verte Tour.
A full J Balvin headline show in Europe now runs to about 30 songs. At Iberdrola Music in Madrid on 12 September 2025 he played 31, opening with 'Doblexxó', 'Reggaeton', 'Amarillo', 'Morado' and 'Azul', running through the early hits '6 AM', 'Ay vamos', 'Safari' and 'Ginza', the collaborations 'Con altura', 'X' and 'I Like It', and ending with 'Mi gente', 'RITMO (Bad Boys for Life)', 'Qué calor' and 'In da Getto'.
The 2024 arena shows were built the same way. In Frankfurt on 26 April 2024 the set opened with 'Mi gente', 'COLMILLO' and 'Dientes' and ran to 30 songs, with the Colores tracks 'Amarillo', 'Rojo' and 'Azul' in the middle. Festival sets are shorter: in Paris at Longchamp in June 2023 he played 13 songs, mostly the biggest hits.
Expect a fast, DJ-driven show with dancers and colour-themed visuals rather than long breaks between songs. Set lists change from night to night, but 'Mi gente', 'Ginza', 'Con altura', 'Reggaeton' and 'In da Getto' have been near-constants in Europe since 2019.
There are no J Balvin tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no concerts have been announced. Any site already selling seats, or offering a 'presale code' for a European date, is not official.
When J Balvin does announce European shows, tickets are normally sold country by country through each promoter's official outlets and the venue's own box office, sometimes after a fan presale. For festival appearances, the festival's own ticketing is the only official route. If a show sells out, use only the official resale service of the country concerned and avoid unofficial resellers on social media.
The alert on this page will tell you as soon as J Balvin confirms a concert or festival date in Europe.
