John Legend has not announced any concerts in continental Europe or Ireland for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, residency or one-off European date on record for the singer and pianist. Any list of 2027 European dates circulating now is unofficial.
Europe saw him only a few months ago. In July 2026 he played a summer run billed as An Evening of Songs & Stories, at open-air and heritage venues in Rome, Lucca, Marostica, Rotterdam, Ghent, Marbella, Madrid and Ostuni. A year earlier, in June 2025, the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour took him to the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, the Adidas Arena in Paris and the Olympiahalle in Munich.
This page sets out what is and is not known about John Legend and Europe in 2027, then tells the story of his concerts on the continent and in Ireland: from the Kleine Zaal in Amsterdam in February 2005 to arena tours, festival stages, Italian piazzas and the Roman amphitheatre at Pompeii.
There is no official John Legend Europe Tour 2027. No promoter or venue in the European Union, Switzerland, Norway or Ireland has a John Legend concert on sale for 2027, and no festival has announced him for next summer. Nothing has been published elsewhere for 2027 either.
His recent European pattern has alternated between formats. In 2024 he played intimate summer dates at the Terme di Caracalla in Rome, the amphitheatre in Pompeii and the Zitadelle Spandau in Berlin; in 2025 an arena tour for the 20th anniversary of Get Lifted; and in 2026 another summer of 'songs and stories' at piazzas, gardens and festival stages. That rhythm suggests he is comfortable returning to Europe regularly, but no 2027 plan has been confirmed.
His most recent albums are Legend (2022) and My Favorite Dream (2024), a children's album, and the 2025 anniversary edition of Get Lifted added previously unreleased songs. He also continues as a coach on the US television show The Voice, which shapes his touring calendar.
Until an announcement is made, treat any '2027 European tour' poster, ticket listing or 'presale code' with suspicion. When dates are confirmed, this page will be updated with cities, venues and on-sale information.
John Legend's first concert on the continent, according to the setlist archive, was at the Kleine Zaal in Amsterdam on 17 February 2005, a few weeks after Get Lifted came out. That summer he played the Nürburgring and the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg on 4 and 5 June 2005, the twin sites of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, then Vicar Street in Dublin on 5 September, the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on 15 September and the Cirque Royal in Brussels on 16 September 2005.
The Once Again era brought him back to the Halles de Schaerbeek in Brussels and the Heineken Music Hall in December 2006, and to a string of summer dates in 2007: the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam on 30 June, Werchter on 1 July, the Pariser Platz in Stuttgart on 8 July and the Piazza Napoleone in Lucca on 9 July. In March 2009, touring Evolver, he played the Heineken Music Hall, two nights at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, the Zénith in Paris on 7 March, the E-Werk in Cologne and the Alcatraz in Milan.
Love in the Future and 'All of Me' changed the scale. In July 2013 he played Werchter, Perugia, the San Siro racecourse in Milan, the Place Masséna in Nice, the Ahoy in Rotterdam and Ferropolis in Germany, then clubs in Hamburg and Munich. The All of Me Tour of autumn 2014 visited the Tempodrom in Berlin, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 30 October, Düsseldorf, Forest National in Brussels, the Zénith in Paris, the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao, the Auditori Fòrum in Barcelona, the Teatro Sistina in Rome and the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua, with summer dates in Cork, Lucca and Rotterdam in 2015.
The Darkness and Light Tour of September and October 2017 was his biggest European arena run: the Ziggo Dome on 22 September, the Mehr! Theater in Hamburg, the Columbiahalle in Berlin, the Zenith in Munich, the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on 4 October, Forest National, the Palladium in Cologne, the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt and the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on 12 October 2017.
Since then he has returned most summers. In 2019 he played La Cantera de Nagüeles in Marbella and the Parvis de la Défense outside Paris; in July 2022 the Ahoy in Rotterdam, the Piazza Napoleone in Lucca, the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart and the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps in Carcassonne; in June 2024 the Terme di Caracalla, Pompeii and the Zitadelle Spandau. The Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour played the Ziggo Dome on 2 June 2025, the Adidas Arena in Paris on 5 June and the Olympiahalle in Munich on 7 June.
His latest European run, in July 2026, began at the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome on 2 July and continued to the Piazza Napoleone in Lucca on 5 July, the Piazza Castello in Marostica on 6 July, the Maas stage in Rotterdam on 12 July, De Bijloke in Ghent on 13 July, La Cantera de Nagüeles in Marbella on 20 July, the Real Jardín Botánico in Madrid on 22 July and the Arena Bianca in Ostuni on 24 July 2026.
The table below lists 67 documented European concerts by John Legend between 2005 and 2026, with the most shows in Amsterdam (8), Rotterdam (4), Lucca (4), Paris (4), Rome (3), Munich (3). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (9 July 2013 to 20 July 2026), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
John Legend has played several of Europe's major summer festivals, mostly early in his career. The setlist archive has him at the Nürburgring and Nuremberg's Zeppelinfeld in June 2005, the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park sites, at Werchter in Belgium on 1 July 2007 with a 15-song set, and at Werchter again on 5 July 2013 in The Barn, with a 16-song set at the height of 'All of Me'.
Italy's summer series have been a constant: the Piazza Napoleone in Lucca, home of the Lucca Summer Festival, has hosted him in 2007, 2015, 2022 and 2026, more than any other European venue. Rotterdam in July has become another habit, with Ahoy dates in 2013, 2015 and 2022 and the Maas stage in 2026.
John Roger Stephens was born on 28 December 1978 in Springfield, Ohio, and started playing piano at four. He studied English at the University of Pennsylvania, where Lauryn Hill hired him to play piano on 'Everything Is Everything'. After working at the Boston Consulting Group he became the first artist signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music, and took his stage name from a remark by the poet J. Ivy.
Get Lifted (2004), with 'Ordinary People', won three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, and reached No. 1 in Norway and the top ten in the Netherlands and Sweden. Once Again (2006) went gold in Italy, the Netherlands and the UK, and Evolver (2008) brought 'Green Light' with André 3000. Wake Up! (2010), recorded with the Roots, won two more Grammys.
Love in the Future (2013) contained 'All of Me', written for his wife Chrissy Teigen, a three-week US No. 1 and one of the best-selling digital singles ever. 'Glory', with Common, from the film Selma, won the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Song in 2015. Darkness and Light (2016) followed, then A Legendary Christmas (2018) and Bigger Love (2020), which won the Grammy for Best R&B Album.
In 2018, after producing the live television production of Jesus Christ Superstar, he became the first Black man to win an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony. He has won 12 Grammy Awards, held his first Las Vegas residency, Love in Las Vegas, in 2022, and released Legend (2022) and the children's album My Favorite Dream (2024).

Italy has a special place in John Legend's European life. He married Chrissy Teigen in Como on 14 September 2013, and the setlist archive records a short performance at Villa Pizzo in Como that day. He has also sung at the Forte Belvedere in Florence and in Porto Cervo and Capri, alongside his public concerts.
Those concerts have favoured beautiful settings: the Piazza Napoleone in Lucca four times, the Terme di Caracalla in Rome and the Roman amphitheatre at Pompeii in June 2024, the Piazza Castello in Marostica and the Arena Bianca in Ostuni in July 2026. Milan, Perugia, Padua and Rome's Teatro Sistina complete an Italian list longer than for any other country.
Amsterdam has followed his career from the start: the Kleine Zaal in 2005, the Heineken Music Hall in 2005, 2006 and 2009, and the Ziggo Dome in 2014, 2017 and 2025. The 30 October 2014 Ziggo Dome show ran to 20 songs, closing with 'Ordinary People', 'So High' and 'All of Me'.
Rotterdam adds his summer visits: the Ahoy in 2013, 2015 and 2022 and the Maas stage on 12 July 2026, where a nine-song set included 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'Ribbon in the Sky', 'Here Comes the Sun' and 'Redemption Song'.
Paris has seen him at the Zénith in 2009 and 2014, the AccorHotels Arena on 4 October 2017 and the Adidas Arena on 5 June 2025, plus shorter appearances at Disneyland Paris in March 2017, where he sang 'Beauty and the Beast', the Parvis de la Défense in 2019 and Paris La Défense Arena in January 2025.
Outside the capital he has played the Place Masséna in Nice in 2013 and the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps in Carcassonne's medieval Cité in July 2022. France was not on the 2026 summer route.
Ireland's record is short: Vicar Street in Dublin on 5 September 2005, with a seven-song set ending in 'Ordinary People', and Cork Docklands on 23 June 2015. No Irish date has followed since.
Germany has hosted him in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart, most recently at the Olympiahalle in Munich in June 2025. Spain has had him in Bilbao, Barcelona and Marbella, and for the first time in Madrid, at the Real Jardín Botánico, on 22 July 2026.
A full John Legend arena show is long and built around the piano. At the Olympiahalle in Munich on 7 June 2025 he played 33 songs, a celebration of Get Lifted with 'Used to Love U', 'Alright', 'She Don't Have to Know' and 'Number One', plus the songs he wrote or sang for others, such as 'Jesus Walks', 'Encore', 'You Don't Know My Name' and 'American Boy', before closing with 'Ordinary People', 'Green Light', 'All of Me' and 'Live It Up'.
The summer 2026 shows were looser and more personal. At La Cantera de Nagüeles in Marbella on 20 July 2026 the 19-song set mixed his hits with covers such as 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'Ribbon in the Sky', 'God Only Knows', 'Here Comes the Sun' and 'Redemption Song', and ended with 'Glory', 'All of Me' and 'Wild'.
Whatever the format, 'Ordinary People', 'All of Me', 'Save Room', 'Green Light' and 'Used to Love U' have been near-constants of his European concerts for twenty years.
There are no John Legend tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no concerts have been announced. Any site offering seats or a 'presale code' for a 2027 European date is not official.
His European concerts are sold country by country, through each promoter's official outlets and the venue's own box office; summer shows in Italy, Spain and the Netherlands are often part of festival series with their own ticketing. If a show sells out, use only the official resale service of the country concerned.
