Rammstein Europe Tour 2027

Rammstein have not announced any concerts in Europe for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, festival booking or one-off stadium date in continental Europe or Ireland, and the band have not released a studio album since Zeit in April 2022. The most recent official news is a live album, Rammstein – Live in Mexico City, announced in September 2026 and drawn from the band's October 2022 shows at the Foro Sol.

The six musicians from Berlin last played Europe on the Stadium Tour, which began at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen in May 2019 and ended in the same stadium on 31 July 2024, after five nights there. Between those dates the tour visited almost every corner of the continent, from Lisbon and Madrid to Helsinki, Chorzów, Budapest and Dublin, and became the most successful tour in the band's history.

This page sets out what is and is not known about Rammstein's plans and gives a detailed account of their concerts in continental Europe and Ireland, from a club show at the Willemeen in Arnhem in October 1996 to the record-breaking stadium summers of 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: what is announced so far

There is no official information about Rammstein concerts in 2027. The Stadium Tour came to an end in Gelsenkirchen on 31 July 2024, more than five years after it opened there, and no new tour, album or festival appearance has been announced since. The September 2026 announcement concerned an archive release, a live album recorded in Mexico City in 2022, not new concerts.

The band have historically announced big European runs well in advance. The Stadium Tour was revealed on 2 November 2018, with presale tickets from 5 November and general sale from 7 November, about six months before the first show. The 2023 European leg was announced from the stage at the last 2022 concert, in Ostend, and more than one million tickets were sold in the first hours of the presale. A 2027 stadium summer would therefore normally have been made public by now; nothing of the kind has been published.

The band's line-up of Till Lindemann, Richard Kruspe, Paul Landers, Oliver Riedel, Christoph Schneider and Christian 'Flake' Lorenz has never changed since 1994. Until there is an official announcement, treat any 'presale code', ticket listing or leaked list of 2027 stadium dates with suspicion: none of it can be genuine.

If the band do return, Germany is the obvious starting point. On the Stadium Tour, 12 of the 30 concerts of the 2024 leg alone took place in Germany, including four nights in Dresden, three in Frankfurt and five in Gelsenkirchen.

Before the Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: European concert history

Rammstein's first concerts outside the German-speaking countries came quickly. The setlist archive shows the Willemeen in Arnhem on 6 October 1996, on the Herzeleid tour, and in 1997, the year Sehnsucht went to No. 1 in Germany, the Oude Zaal in Amsterdam on 9 April, the Megaland site in Landgraaf on 18 May, festival grounds in Burgum, Hasselt and Biddinghuizen in the summer, then a club tour in November: the Garatge Club in Barcelona on 19 November, the Rainbow Club in Milan, La Laiterie in Strasbourg, the Élysée Montmartre in Paris on 25 November, the Vooruit in Ghent and The Max in Amsterdam.

The Sehnsucht tour carried on through 1998 with a southern swing in May: the Paradise Garage in Lisbon on 13 May, the Hard Club in Porto, the Sala Canciller in Madrid, Valencia, the Sala Zeleste in Barcelona, Le Moulin in Marseille, Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne and L'Olympic in Nantes on 20 May 1998, followed by Eindhoven and an open-air date at the Presqu'île de Malsaucy near Belfort on 3 July. On 22 and 23 August 1998 they played to more than 17,000 people at the Wuhlheide in Berlin, the concert released as Live aus Berlin.

With Mutter the venues grew. In 2001 Rammstein played the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon on 5 June, the Élysée Montmartre again on 9 June, Le Zénith in Paris on 10 November, three nights at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam from 3 to 5 December, the Brabanthal in Haasrode, two nights at the Pavilhão Acácio Rosa in Lisbon, the Pavelló Olímpic in Badalona and the Donosti Arena in San Sebastian on 15 December 2001. The Reise, Reise tour followed in November 2004 with the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, two nights at the Ahoy in Rotterdam, the Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisbon, La Cubierta in Leganés, Badalona and the Velódromo de Anoeta in San Sebastian, then two nights at the Zénith in Lille, the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy on 11 February 2005 and the FilaForum in Assago.

The Liebe ist für alle da tour opened its European arena leg at the Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisbon on 8 November 2009 and ran through Madrid, Badalona, Barakaldo, Nantes, Basel, Geneva, Vienna, Munich, Leipzig, Prague, Katowice, Cologne, Lyon, Strasbourg, Arnhem, two nights at Bercy on 8 and 9 December, Antwerp, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Copenhagen and Rostock before four nights at the Velodrom in Berlin from 18 to 21 December 2009. A second run in February and March 2010 took in Dortmund, Mannheim, Chemnitz, Dresden, Erfurt, Kiel, Malmö, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Łódź, Ostrava and Budapest.

The greatest-hits tour Made in Germany 1995–2011 began its European run in Budapest on 10 November 2011, included four nights at the O2 World in Berlin and three at the ISS Dome in Düsseldorf, reached The O2 in Dublin on 27 February 2012 and played two nights at Bercy on 6 and 7 March 2012, the shows released in 2017 as the film and album Paris. In April 2013 it returned to southern Europe: the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, the Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisbon, Barakaldo, Madrid, Montpellier, Lyon and the Unipol Arena near Bologna.

The Stadium Tour dwarfed everything before it. It opened at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen with two fan-club shows on 24 and 26 May 2019 and then went to Barcelona, Bern, Munich, Dresden, Rostock, Copenhagen, Berlin, De Kuip in Rotterdam, two nights at Paris La Défense Arena, Hanover, Brussels, Frankfurt, Prague, Luxembourg, Chorzów, Tampere, Stockholm, Oslo and Vienna. After the pandemic it resumed with four nights at Letňany in Prague in May 2022 and went on to the Stade de France on 22 July 2023, Madrid's Metropolitano, Lisbon's Estádio da Luz, three nights at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels in August 2023 and, in 2024, Dresden, San Sebastian, Marseille, Barcelona, Lyon, Nijmegen, the RDS Arena in Dublin on 23 June, Ostend, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Klagenfurt, Reggio Emilia and the five closing nights in Gelsenkirchen. In total the tour played 141 shows in Europe and North America and sold more than six million tickets.

The table below lists 271 documented European concerts by Rammstein between 1996 and 2024, with the most shows in Berlin (18), Prague (10), Gelsenkirchen (9), Lisbon (9), Paris (9), Munich (7). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Before the Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: past European tours at a glance

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027 and European festivals

Rammstein have been a fixture of European festival line-ups since the late 1990s. The setlist archive and the tour articles record Rock Werchter in 2002, 2005, 2010, 2013 and 2016, Pinkpop at the Megaland site in Landgraaf on 28 May 2010, a site they also played in 1997, 2002 and 2016, Rock in Rio Lisboa at the Parque da Bela Vista on 30 May 2010, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in June 2010, Nova Rock in Austria in 2010 and 2013, the Greenfield Festival in Interlaken, the Main Square Festival in Arras on 4 July 2010 and the Sonisphere Festival in Getafe on 10 July 2010.

In 2013 the band headlined the Hurricane Festival in Scheeßel, Southside, Rock Werchter, the Festival des Vieilles Charrues in Carhaix and Wacken Open Air on 1 August 2013. The 2016 and 2017 festival tours brought the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, a main stage in Paris on 12 June 2016, the Val de Moine at Clisson, the Eichenring at Scheeßel, three nights at the Waldbühne in Berlin, the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg, the Festivalterrein Stenehei at Dessel, Viveiro in Galicia and three nights in the Roman arena of Nîmes from 11 to 13 July 2017.

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: career and records

Rammstein were formed in Berlin in 1994 by Richard Kruspe, Oliver Riedel and Christoph Schneider, who persuaded Till Lindemann to sing; Paul Landers and Christian 'Flake' Lorenz, both from the East Berlin punk band Feeling B, completed the line-up. After winning a local contest for amateur bands they signed with Motor Music and released Herzeleid in 1995 with producer Jacob Hellner. Their debut led the music press to coin the term Neue Deutsche Härte.

Sehnsucht (1997) went to No. 1 in Germany and produced 'Engel' and 'Du hast'. Trent Reznor's choice of two Rammstein songs for David Lynch's Lost Highway opened doors abroad, and the band toured the United States with KMFDM and on the Family Values Tour. Mutter (2001), with 'Sonne', 'Links 2 3 4', 'Ich will' and 'Mein Herz brennt', all six singles charting across Europe, followed after a move to Universal.

Reise, Reise (2004) gave them 'Mein Teil' and 'Amerika'; 'Mein Teil' reached No. 1 in Spain. Rosenrot (2005), the live album Völkerball (2006) and Liebe ist für alle da (2009), whose single 'Pussy' was their first No. 1 in Germany, came next, before a decade of touring, compilations and the live releases Rammstein in Amerika and Paris.

'Deutschland' (2019) returned them to No. 1 in Germany, and the untitled seventh album reached No. 1 in 14 countries. Zeit, written and recorded during the pandemic lockdowns, followed on 29 April 2022. Widely regarded as the most successful German-language band of all time, Rammstein are known above all for concerts built around pyrotechnics, and their Stadium Tour grossed more than 563 million dollars.

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: Gelsenkirchen, first and last

The Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen framed the whole Stadium Tour. It opened there with two fan-club shows on 24 and 26 May 2019 and two regular concerts on 27 and 28 May, and it ended there with five nights on 26, 27, 29, 30 and 31 July 2024. No other stadium on the tour hosted as many Rammstein concerts.

The final night on 31 July 2024 followed the same 21-song running order as the rest of that summer, opening with 'Ramm4' and closing with 'Rammstein' and 'Adieu'. It is, for now, the band's last concert anywhere.

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: Berlin, the home city

Berlin has had more Rammstein nights than any other city on the continent: the Wuhlheide in 1998, 2010 and 2013, four nights at the Velodrom in December 2009, four at the O2 World in 2011, three at the Waldbühne in July 2016 and the Olympiastadion in 2019, 2022 and 2023, with three nights there on 15, 16 and 18 July 2023.

The Wuhlheide concerts of August 1998, filmed for Live aus Berlin, were the biggest the band had played in the city at the time, with more than 17,000 people each night. Twenty-five years later the Olympiastadion was holding far bigger crowds.

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: the French connection

France has been one of Rammstein's most loyal markets outside the German-speaking world. The band played the Élysée Montmartre in 1997 and 2001, Bercy in 2005, 2009 and 2012, Nantes, Lyon, Strasbourg and Lille on arena tours, and three nights in the Roman arena at Nîmes in July 2017, after a first visit there on 23 July 2005.

The Paris concert film was shot at Bercy in March 2012, and the Stadium Tour played Paris La Défense Arena twice in June 2019, the Groupama Stadium near Lyon in 2022 and 2024, the Stade de France on 22 July 2023 and the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille on 8 June 2024. The band also recorded the untitled seventh album at La Fabrique Studios in France and returned there in 2020 to work on new music.

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: the Low Countries and Ireland

The Netherlands and Belgium have seen Rammstein almost every touring year. In the Netherlands: Arnhem, Amsterdam, Landgraaf, Rotterdam's Ahoy and De Kuip, and the Goffertpark in Nijmegen in 2005, 2013, 2022 and 2024. In Belgium: the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Rock Werchter, two summers at Park De Nieuwe Koers in Ostend, where the 2023 tour was announced, and three nights at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels in August 2023.

Ireland has had fewer visits: The O2 in Dublin on 27 February 2012 and the RDS Arena on 23 June 2024, the band's only Irish stadium show.

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027: what to expect live

A Rammstein concert of the Stadium Tour era ran to 21 songs, and the band's shows have long been built around pyrotechnics, a large part of why their concerts drew ever bigger crowds. In Gelsenkirchen on 31 July 2024 the set opened with 'Ramm4', 'Links 2 3 4', 'Keine Lust', 'Sehnsucht' and 'Asche zu Asche', reached 'Zeit', 'Deutschland', 'Radio', 'Mein Teil', 'Du hast', 'Sonne' and 'Engel', and closed with 'Du riechst so gut', 'Pussy', 'Ich will', 'Rammstein' and 'Adieu'.

Earlier legs opened differently: 'Was ich liebe' in Gelsenkirchen in May 2019, 'Armee der Tristen' and 'Zick Zack' at the Goffertpark in Nijmegen on 5 July 2022. The festival sets of 2013 and 2017 were shorter, at 17 or 18 songs; at Wacken on 1 August 2013 the band opened with 'Ich tu dir weh' and played 'Benzin', 'Bück dich' and 'Feuer frei!', and at Nîmes in July 2017 they included 'Halleluja', 'Seemann', 'Stripped' and 'Frühling in Paris'.

Rammstein Europe Tour 2027 tickets and presales

There are no Rammstein tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no concerts have been announced. Any website already selling seats or offering a presale code for a 2027 Rammstein show is not official.

For the Stadium Tour, tickets were released in a presale followed by a general sale two days later, and most venues sold out within days. If new dates are announced, buy only from the official sellers listed for each country, the venue's own box office or the band's fan club, and use only the official resale platform of the country concerned if you need to buy or sell a ticket afterwards.
