Shakira has not announced any concerts in continental Europe or Ireland for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 her European activity is all in 2026: a residency in Madrid, at a temporary venue named Estadio Shakira in the Villaverde district, which began on 18 September 2026 and is billed as the conclusion of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The last Madrid dates are 9, 10, 11 and 12 October 2026.
The Madrid run is her first concert series in Europe since the El Dorado World Tour of June and July 2018, and it caps the most successful tour of her career: by January 2026 Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran had become the highest-grossing Latin tour ever, with $421.6 million and 3.3 million tickets sold. Nothing has been announced in Europe for after the Madrid finale.
This page explains what is and is not known about Shakira's European plans for 2027, and gives a full account of her concerts in continental Europe and Ireland, from Madrid and Barcelona in February 1997 to the Madrid residency of 2026.
There are no Shakira concerts announced in Europe for 2027. The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour began in South America in February 2025, Shakira's first tour since 2018, and grew to more than 100 scheduled shows. Its European chapter takes the form of a single residency rather than a tour of several countries: all of its European dates are in Madrid.
The Madrid shows were set for 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 September and 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11 October 2026, with a farewell night, billed as a Gran Despedida con Amigos, added on Monday 12 October 2026. The guests for that night have not been announced. The fan presale for the farewell date was scheduled for 6 October 2026 and the general sale for 7 October. After Madrid, the tour has one more date announced, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on 18 October 2026.
Some plans for the tour beyond the Americas and Europe were cancelled: dates in Arab countries and India were called off for security reasons linked to the war involving Iran. No European replacement or extension has been announced, and no 2027 date of any kind appears in the tour's published schedule.
Shakira has historically followed each major album with a large European tour, from the Tour of the Mongoose in 2002 and 2003 to El Dorado in 2018. Whether a new album or new tour follows the Madrid residency is not known. Until there is an official announcement, treat any 2027 European date list, ticket listing or 'presale code' with suspicion.
Shakira's European concert history begins in Spain. Her first international tour, Tour Pies Descalzos, which ran for two years from October 1995, included the Raimundo Saporta Pavilion in Madrid on 4 February 1997 and the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on 6 February 1997. Spain has remained her strongest European market ever since.
The Tour of the Mongoose, her first worldwide tour, brought her to the rest of the continent after Laundry Service made her a global star. It played the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on 10 December 2002 and the Kölnarena in Cologne on 12 December, then returned in spring 2003 for the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy on 28 March, two nights at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, the Hallenstadion in Zürich, Frankfurt, Munich, Stockholm, Berlin, Hamburg, Milan, the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Ahoy in Rotterdam, Las Ventas in Madrid and the Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisbon on 27 April 2003.
The Oral Fixation Tour was her biggest European tour. In summer 2006 she played a run of open-air Spanish dates in bullrings and football stadiums, among them Zaragoza, A Coruña, Gijón, León, two nights at Las Ventas in Madrid on 22 and 23 June, Pamplona, the Palau Sant Jordi, La Rosaleda in Málaga, Elche, Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 5 July 2006. From January to April 2007 she toured the continent's arenas: Hamburg, Berlin, Antwerp, Hanover, Mannheim, Paris-Bercy, two nights each in Munich and Zürich, Stuttgart, Milan, Leipzig, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Aalborg, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, the GelreDome in Arnhem, Oberhausen, Granada, Torrevieja, Santander, Lisbon and finally Cologne on 8 April 2007.
The Sale el Sol World Tour, known in English as The Sun Comes Out World Tour, reached Europe in November 2010, opening at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon on 16 November and ending the year at The O2 in Dublin on 16 December 2010. Its second European leg in May and June 2011 moved into stadiums in Spain: the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona on 29 May, the Vicente Calderón in Madrid on 3 June and San Mamés in Bilbao on 4 June 2011. It closed with two nights at Paris-Bercy on 13 and 14 June 2011. Her live album Live from Paris followed in December 2011.
The El Dorado World Tour was delayed by a vocal injury and finally opened in Hamburg on 3 June 2018. Its European leg played Cologne, Antwerp, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, two nights at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, Munich, the Rockhal in Luxembourg, Milan, Zürich, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Lisbon, Bilbao, A Coruña and the WiZink Center in Madrid, before two nights at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on 6 and 7 July 2018.
Eight years later came the Madrid residency of 2026, on a different scale: one city, one purpose-built venue and more than a dozen nights between 18 September and 12 October 2026. In between, her European appearances were television shows, award ceremonies and guest spots, including the 2006 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony in Berlin, where she sang 'Hips Don't Lie' with Wyclef Jean.
The table below lists 127 documented European concerts by Shakira between 1997 and 2026, with the most shows in Madrid (16), Barcelona (8), Paris (7), Lisbon (6), Munich (5), Zürich (4). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (25 June 2018 to 3 October 2026), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Shakira has played some of Europe's biggest festival stages. At Rock in Rio Lisboa, in Lisbon's Parque da Bela Vista, she performed on 26 May 2006 and again on 21 May 2010. At Rock in Rio Madrid, at the Ciudad del Rock site in Arganda del Rey, she played on 4 July 2008 and 5 June 2010, sets of 13 to 15 songs built around 'Te dejo Madrid', 'La tortura', 'Inevitable' and 'Hips Don't Lie'.
On 7 July 2007 she played four songs at the Live Earth concert at the HSH Nordbank Arena in Hamburg. She has not been booked by any European festival for 2027 as of 6 October 2026.
Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born on 2 February 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia, and made her first record for Sony Music Colombia at 14. Pies Descalzos (1995) and ¿Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998) made her a star across Latin America and in Spain, and her MTV Unplugged of 1999 was the series' first Spanish-language broadcast.
Her first English-language album, Laundry Service (2001), with 'Whenever, Wherever' and 'Underneath Your Clothes', sold over 13 million copies and reached number two in the UK. Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 and Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 (2005) followed, with 'La tortura', a number one in Spain, and 'Hips Don't Lie' with Wyclef Jean, which reached number one in more than 55 countries.
'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)', the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, became the best-selling World Cup song of all time, and Sale el Sol (2010) topped the album charts in Belgium, France, Portugal and Spain. Shakira (2014) and El Dorado (2017), with 'Chantaje' and 'La bicicleta', kept her at the top, and in 2020 she co-headlined the Super Bowl LIV halftime show with Jennifer Lopez.
Her twelfth album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (2024), came after 'BZRP Music Sessions #53' with Bizarrap and 'TQG' with Karol G, and won the Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album. She has four Grammys and fifteen Latin Grammys, was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2026, and sang the 2026 World Cup song 'Dai Dai' with Burna Boy.

The Estadio Shakira residency is unusual for a touring artist of her size. Instead of a European tour, she built a temporary stadium in the Villaverde district of Madrid and played it for more than three weeks.
The format echoes the Adele in Munich model of 2024, but with a Spanish accent: Madrid is a city she has sung about since 'Te dejo Madrid' in 2001, and Spain was where her European career began in 1997. The farewell night on 12 October 2026, billed as a 'great farewell with friends', closes the European chapter of the tour.
No country in Europe has seen Shakira as often as Spain. The table below includes concerts in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao (and Barakaldo), A Coruña, Gijón, León, Pamplona, Zaragoza, Málaga, Elche, Granada, Torrevieja, Santander, Valencia, Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as well as Rock in Rio Madrid twice.
Barcelona has its own story: the Palau Sant Jordi in 1997, 2002, 2006, 2010 and twice in 2018, the Estadi Olímpic in 2011, and the music video of 'Perro fiel', filmed in the city. 'BZRP Music Sessions #53', the 2023 song aimed at her former partner Gerard Piqué, was one of the biggest hits of her career in Spain and closes every Madrid show in the set lists published so far.
France has been a constant on Shakira's tours: Paris-Bercy in 2003, 2007, 2010 and twice in 2011, the AccorHotels Arena twice in 2018, and regional arenas in Lyon, Montpellier, Amnéville, Nice and Bordeaux. Sale el Sol reached number one in France.
She also sang in French: her cover of Francis Cabrel's 'Je l'aime à mourir' was performed at Bercy in June 2011 and became the lead single of Live from Paris. The 2017 song 'Comme moi' with the French rapper Black M was another French hit.
Germany has had more Shakira arena dates than any country outside Spain: Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Hanover, Stuttgart, Leipzig and Oberhausen. The El Dorado World Tour began in Hamburg on 3 June 2018.
Germany also hosted one of her best-known performances: the closing ceremony of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Berlin, with 'Hips Don't Lie'. It was the first of a series of World Cup moments that went on through 'Waka Waka' in 2010, the Maracanã in 2014 and 'Dai Dai' in 2026.
The 2026 Madrid show runs to about 25 to 27 songs. On 19 September 2026 she opened with 'La fuerte', 'GIRL LIKE ME', 'Las de la intuición' into 'Estoy aquí' and 'Empire' into 'Inevitable', played 'Te felicito', 'TQG', 'Don't Bother', 'Acróstico', 'Copa vacía', 'La bicicleta', 'La tortura', 'Hips Don't Lie', 'Chantaje', 'Loca' and 'Soltera', revisited 'Ojos así', 'Pies descalzos, sueños blancos', 'Antología' and 'Te dejo Madrid', and finished with 'Suerte', 'Dai Dai', 'Waka Waka (Esto es África)', 'Loba' and 'BZRP Music Sessions #53'.
Earlier tours were shorter. The El Dorado show in Hamburg on 3 June 2018 had 21 songs and ended with 'Hips Don't Lie' and 'La bicicleta'. At Paris-Bercy on 14 June 2011 the 22-song set included a cover of Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters', 'Je l'aime à mourir' and 'Waka Waka'.
Across her full European set lists, the songs she has played most often are 'La tortura', 'Hips Don't Lie', 'Inevitable', 'Whenever, Wherever' and 'Ojos así'.
There are no Shakira tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no 2027 concerts have been announced. Any site selling 2027 seats or offering a 2027 presale code is not official.
For the 2026 Madrid residency, tickets were sold through official Spanish outlets, with a presale for fans before each general sale. If new European dates are announced, expect the same pattern, with dates set country by country. Use the venue's own site or the country's official outlet, and for resale only the official platforms linked from those sites.
