Shawn Mendes has not announced any concerts in Europe for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, festival booking or one-off show in continental Europe or Ireland on his calendar, and no new album has been announced since Shawn, his fifth studio record, came out in November 2024.
His most recent European dates were the summer festivals and arenas of the On the Road Again Tour in August 2025, which began in Kosovo on 2 August and passed through Kraków, Sziget in Budapest, Smukfest in Denmark, Cologne, the Frequency site at St. Pölten, Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, Madrid, Lisbon and Munich. Before that he had played an intimate show at the Tempodrom in Berlin in November 2024, his first in Europe since the arena tour of 2019.
This page sets out what is and is not known about his plans for 2027 and gives a full account of his concerts in continental Europe and Ireland, from the Frannz Club in Berlin in February 2015 to the Olympic Park in Munich on 31 August 2025.
There is no official information about Shawn Mendes concerts in 2027. The On the Road Again Tour, announced on 29 May 2025, ran from 2 August to 17 October 2025, and no further dates have been published since. No European festival has named him for summer 2027.
Mendes has a history of long breaks. Wonder: The World Tour, announced in September 2021 with 64 dates across North America, the UK and Europe, was stopped in 2022 after seven shows so that he could look after his mental health, and the remaining dates, including every European concert, were cancelled. He did not play a full headline concert again until Rock in Rio in Brazil in September 2024.
He came back to Europe gradually: one theatre show in Berlin in November 2024 as part of the For Friends and Family Only run, then a summer 2025 mix of festivals and arenas. That pattern means a 2027 return is possible, but nothing has been announced. Until there is an official statement, treat any 'presale code', ticket listing or leaked list of 2027 European dates with suspicion.
Mendes first came to Europe as a teenager with a large online following. The setlist archive shows small headline shows at the Frannz Club in Berlin on 25 February 2015, La Boule Noire in Paris on 1 March 2015 and the Teatro Monumental in Madrid that September, before his debut album had been out a year.
The Shawn Mendes World Tour of 2016 sold out in minutes and moved him into bigger rooms: the E-Werk in Cologne on 16 April, the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Falkonersalen near Copenhagen, Fryshuset in Stockholm, Oslo Spektrum, Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin, Fabrique in Milan, the Barclaycard Center in Madrid, the Olympia in Paris on 2 May and the MEO Arena in Lisbon on 8 May 2016.
A year later the Illuminate World Tour was a full arena tour, with James TW as the European opening act. It began at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen on 30 April 2017 and played the Ziggo Dome, the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, the Wiener Stadthalle, the Mediolanum Forum near Milan, the WiZink Center in Madrid, Lisbon, the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, the Hallenstadion in Zürich, the Olympiahalle in Munich, the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on 24 May and the Palais 12 in Brussels, before closing at the 3Arena in Dublin on 30 May 2017.
Shawn Mendes: The Tour, in spring 2019, was bigger again. It opened with two nights at the Ziggo Dome on 7 and 8 March 2019 and continued to the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Berlin, Oslo Spektrum, the Ericsson Globe, the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Paris on 19 March, Munich, the Unipol Arena near Bologna, the Pala Alpitour in Turin, the Palau Sant Jordi, the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Montpellier, the Hallenstadion, the Tauron Arena in Kraków and Vienna, finishing with two nights at the 3Arena in Dublin on 13 and 14 April 2019.
After the cancelled Wonder tour there was a five-year gap. Mendes returned on 13 November 2024 with a 15-song show at the Tempodrom in Berlin, then in August 2025 played Kraków's Tauron Arena (5 August), the Lanxess Arena in Cologne (12 August), the Ziggo Dome (20 August), the Movistar Arena in Madrid (26 August), the MEO Arena in Lisbon (28 August) and an open-air show at Munich's Olympiapark on 31 August 2025, his last European concert to date.
The table below lists 61 documented European concerts by Shawn Mendes between 2015 and 2025, with the most shows in Amsterdam (6), Berlin (5), Lisbon (4), Madrid (4), Paris (4), Munich (3). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (11 March 2019 to 31 August 2025), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Festivals were a big part of the 2025 European comeback. Mendes played Sziget on Óbuda Island in Budapest on 7 August 2025, Smukfest at Skanderborg in Denmark on 9 August and the Green Park site of the Frequency festival at St. Pölten in Austria on 14 August, in between his own arena dates.
Earlier in his career he mostly played his own headline shows in Europe, alongside radio and television events such as a short set at the Elispace in Beauvais in February 2016 and NRJ radio sessions in Paris. No European festival has announced him for 2027.
Shawn Peter Raul Mendes was born in Toronto on 8 August 1998 to an English mother and a Portuguese father from the Algarve, and grew up in Pickering, Ontario. He taught himself guitar from YouTube videos and became known for six-second song covers on Vine in 2013. Manager Andrew Gertler found him online, and he signed with Island Records in 2014.
His debut album Handwritten (2015) went to number one on the Billboard 200, and 'Stitches' reached number one in the UK. Illuminate (2016), with 'Treat You Better' and 'Mercy', also topped the US chart and reached number three in the UK, and 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' followed in 2017.
His self-titled third album (2018) included 'In My Blood' and 'Lost in Japan'; its deluxe edition added 'If I Can't Have You' and 'Señorita' with Camila Cabello, his first US number one single. Wonder (2020) made him the youngest male artist to top the Billboard 200 with four studio albums.
After a break from touring, Mendes released the folk-leaning Shawn in November 2024. He has won ten MTV Europe Music Awards, eight Juno Awards and thirteen SOCAN awards, and Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in 2018.
| Album | Year | Chart peak |
|---|---|---|
| Handwritten | 2015 | UK 12 |
| Illuminate | 2016 | UK 3 |
| Shawn Mendes | 2018 | UK 3 |
| Wonder | 2020 | UK 12 |
| Shawn | 2024 | UK 22 |
No continental venue has seen Shawn Mendes as often as the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. He played it on 1 May 2017, twice in March 2019 to open that tour's European leg, and again on 20 August 2025.
The Netherlands also gave him early exposure: the Paradiso in April 2016, a short guest set at the Ziggo Dome that September and Dutch television appearances in November 2016.
Germany is the country Mendes has visited most on the continent. He went from the Frannz Club in Berlin in 2015 to the E-Werk and Huxleys in 2016, Oberhausen, Berlin, Munich and Hamburg in 2017, and Berlin, Cologne and Munich again in 2019.
In 2024 Berlin hosted his only European show of the For Friends and Family Only run, and in August 2025 he played the Lanxess Arena in Cologne and the Olympiapark in Munich.
Dublin has been the last stop of two European tours: the Illuminate tour on 30 May 2017 and Shawn Mendes: The Tour, with two nights at the 3Arena on 13 and 14 April 2019.
The 2025 tour did not include Ireland, so the 2019 nights remain his most recent concerts there.
Mendes's father is from the Algarve, and Lisbon has been on every European tour he has played: the MEO Arena in 2016 and 2017, the Altice Arena (the same building under a new name) in March 2019 and the MEO Arena again on 28 August 2025.
No Portuguese date has been announced for 2027.
His last European shows ran to about 15 to 17 songs. At the Olympiapark in Munich on 31 August 2025 he opened with 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back', 'Wonder' and 'Treat You Better', played 'Monster', 'Lost in Japan', 'Isn't That Enough', 'Heart of Gold', 'Señorita', 'Ruin' and 'Mercy', and ended with 'Stitches', 'If I Can't Have You', 'Why Why Why' and 'In My Blood'.
The Berlin Tempodrom show of November 2024 was very different: songs from Shawn such as 'Heavy', 'Nobody Knows', 'Who I Am' and 'The Mountain', with covers including 'That'll Be the Day' and 'Hallelujah'. In the 2019 arena shows the set ran to 21 songs, including a cover of Coldplay's 'Fix You'.
There are no Shawn Mendes tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no concerts have been announced. Any site already selling seats or offering a presale code is not official.
If dates are announced, buy only from the official ticket outlet of each country, the venue itself or the artist's fan club, and use only official resale platforms. Festival appearances are sold through the festival's own ticketing.
