Slipknot have not announced any concerts in continental Europe or Ireland for 2027. As of 6 October 2026, their 2027 calendar is built around the (sic)est Stadium Tour: a single European date at Wembley Stadium in London on 3 July 2027, a run of North American stadiums from mid-July to mid-August, and five shows in South America in September.
That is an unusual gap for a band that has toured mainland Europe almost every other year since December 1999. Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal have all seen them repeatedly, from club dates in Amsterdam, Ghent and Paris at the very start to stadium openings for Metallica in 2004, arena tours of Paris, Berlin and Hamburg, and headline slots at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Graspop and Clisson.
This page sets out what is and is not confirmed for 2027 and gives a full account of Slipknot's concerts in continental Europe and Ireland, from the Melkweg in Amsterdam on 14 December 1999 to the Estádio do Restelo in Lisbon on 29 June 2025.
The (sic)est Stadium Tour was announced on 28 September 2026. Its only European show is Wembley Stadium in London on 3 July 2027, with Marilyn Manson, Lorna Shore and Hatebreed as guests. The North American leg, with Bring Me the Horizon on every date, opens at Nationals Park in Washington on 16 July and runs through Citi Field in New York, Montreal, Toronto, Soldier Field in Chicago, Fenway Park in Boston, Nashville, Houston, Commerce City in Colorado, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and Chase Field in Phoenix on 18 August 2027.
South America follows in September 2027: The Town festival in São Paulo on 4 September, Huracán in Buenos Aires on 8 September, the Estadio Nacional in Santiago on 12 September, the Estadio Nacional in Lima on 14 September and Vive Claro in Bogotá on 16 September. Marilyn Manson and Hatebreed are billed on those dates too.
No date in France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Scandinavia or Ireland has been published, and no European festival has named Slipknot for summer 2027. The band has not said whether more European shows will be added around Wembley. Until there is an official announcement, treat any list of 2027 continental dates, and any 'presale code' for them, as unofficial.
The 2027 shows will also be the first major run since a line-up change: Wikipedia records that DJ Sid Wilson left the band in August 2026. The current line-up is Shawn 'Clown' Crahan, Corey Taylor, Mick Thomson, Jim Root, Alessandro Venturella, Michael Pfaff and drummer Eloy Casagrande, who joined in 2024.
Slipknot's first European tour came only months after their debut album. In December 1999 they played the Melkweg in Amsterdam (14 December), the Vooruit in Ghent and the Élysée Montmartre in Paris on 16 December, the same day they appeared on Canal+'s Nulle Part Ailleurs. They were back in March 2000 for 013 in Tilburg, Hof Ter Lo in Antwerp, La Laiterie in Strasbourg, the Olympic in Nantes, the Bikini in Toulouse, the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne, Zeleste in Barcelona and La Riviera in Madrid; the German, Swiss, Austrian, Italian and Scandinavian dates that should have followed were cancelled or moved. That summer they played Dynamo Open Air at the Goffertpark in Nijmegen, Rock am Ring, Gods of Metal at Monza and Pukkelpop in Hasselt.
The Iowa era made them an arena band. In May 2001 they played the Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisbon, Festimad near Madrid, the PalaVobis in Milan, the Colosseum in Munich, the Maaspoort in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen and the Zénith in Paris, plus Rock im Park and Rock am Ring. In January and February 2002 the Iowa World Tour took in Helsinki's Hartwall Areena, Hovet in Stockholm, the Arena in Berlin, the Grugahalle in Essen, the Docks in Hamburg, the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, the Spodek in Katowice, Prague, the Alcatraz in Milan, La Cubierta in Leganés, San Sebastián, two nights at the Zénith in Paris on 10 and 11 February and the Brabanthal near Leuven.
In 2004 Slipknot opened for Metallica on a European stadium run: Parken in Copenhagen, the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Ullevi in Gothenburg, the Stadion Śląski in Chorzów, the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, the Olympiastadion in Munich, the Weserstadion in Bremen, the Amsterdam ArenA and the Parc des Princes in Paris on 23 June 2004. Between those dates they played Rock in Rio Lisboa, the RDS in Dublin, Graspop, the Fury Festival in Le Mans and the Eurockéennes de Belfort. In the autumn came an arena tour with Slayer: the Mazda Palace in Milan, Berlin, the Zenith in Munich, the Philipshalle in Düsseldorf, the Ahoy in Rotterdam on 21 October and Bercy in Paris on 23 October, ending at Razzmatazz in Barcelona and Sala Aqualung in Madrid.
After the summer festivals of 2005 and the release of All Hope Is Gone in 2008, the band played two club showcases at the Trabendo in Paris and the Grosse Freiheit 36 in Hamburg in August 2008, then a November arena tour through Helsinki, Tampere, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, the Treptow Arena in Berlin, Winterthur, the PalaSharp in Milan, the Heineken Music Hall, two nights at the Zénith in Paris (21 and 22 November), Düsseldorf, Offenbach, Stuttgart, Vienna and Munich, with the Lotto Arena in Antwerp and the Rockhal in Luxembourg in December. Summer 2009 was a festival marathon that ended at the Sonisphere in Barcelona's Parc del Fòrum on 11 July.
Bassist Paul Gray died in May 2010. Slipknot returned in 2011 with a small number of European shows, including the Columbiahalle in Berlin on 21 June, Imola, Graspop, Helsinki and Amnéville. The Prepare for Hell Tour brought them back indoors in 2015, opening at the 3Arena in Dublin on 14 January and continuing to the Zénith in Paris, the Heineken Music Hall, the Mediolanum Forum near Milan, the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin and the O2 World in Hamburg; a February 2016 leg added Leipzig, Padua, Munich, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt.
The We Are Not Your Kind tour of 2020 was their biggest European arena run: the 3Arena in Dublin, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on 30 January, Lyon, Stuttgart, Munich, Milan, Hamburg, Berlin and the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund on 18 February 2020. After summer shows in 2022 and 2023, the 25th anniversary tour reached the Ziggo Dome, Dortmund, Stuttgart, Leipzig and the Accor Arena in Paris in December 2024, and the 2025 summer leg finished at the Estádio do Restelo in Lisbon on 29 June 2025.
The table below lists 248 documented European concerts by Slipknot between 1999 and 2025, with the most shows in Paris (13), Berlin (9), Dessel (9), Amsterdam (9), Munich (8), Nuremberg (7). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (8 December 2024 to 29 June 2025), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Slipknot are one of the most regular headliners of the big European metal and rock weekends. The archive records Rock am Ring at the Nürburgring in 2000, 2001, 2005, 2009, 2019 and 2025 (and at Mendig in 2015), with the twin event Rock im Park in Nuremberg in 2000, 2001, 2005, 2009, 2015, 2019 and 2025. Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel is almost a second home: 2004, 2005, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2019, 2023 and 2025.
In France they have played the Eurockéennes de Belfort (2004 and 2009), the Fury Festival in Le Mans in 2004 and Clisson, home of Hellfest, in 2015, 2019 and 2023. Other festival stops include Dynamo Open Air and Sonisphere at the Goffertpark in Nijmegen, Pukkelpop in Hasselt, Gods of Metal in Monza, Roskilde in 2009, Nova Rock in Nickelsdorf, Greenfield in Interlaken, Rock in Rio Lisboa in 2004 and the Alive festival at Algés in 2009.
More recently they have headlined Wacken Open Air (5 August 2022) and Resurrection Fest in Viveiro, Galicia, in 2019, 2023 and 2025. No European festival has announced Slipknot for 2027.
Slipknot were formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, vocalist Anders Colsefni and bassist Paul Gray. From 1999 until Gray's death in 2010 the line-up was a fixed nine: Crahan, Gray, Joey Jordison, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn and Jim Root, each wearing a mask and a number. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1999.
Iowa (2001) went to number one in the UK, the band's first chart-topper there. Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) followed in 2004, and 'Before I Forget' won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 2006. All Hope Is Gone (2008) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
After Gray's death and Jordison's departure in 2013, the band brought in Alessandro Venturella on bass and Jay Weinberg on drums for .5: The Gray Chapter (2014). Fehn was dismissed in 2019 and replaced by Michael Pfaff before We Are Not Your Kind, which also topped the UK chart. The End, So Far (2022) was their third UK number one.
Craig Jones and Weinberg left in 2023, and Eloy Casagrande took over the drums in 2024. In November 2025 an investment firm bought a majority stake in Slipknot's catalogue, and in August 2026 Sid Wilson left. The band has sold some 30 million records worldwide and also runs its own festival brand, Knotfest.
| Album | Year | Chart peak |
|---|---|---|
| Slipknot | 1999 | UK 37 |
| Iowa | 2001 | UK 1 |
| Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) | 2004 | UK 5 |
| All Hope Is Gone | 2008 | UK 2 |
| .5: The Gray Chapter | 2014 | UK 2 |
| We Are Not Your Kind | 2019 | UK 1 |
| The End, So Far | 2022 | UK 1 |
The (sic)est Stadium Tour is mainly an American project: fourteen stadiums in the United States and Canada, then five in South America. Wembley on 3 July 2027 sits in front of it, a fortnight before Washington, as the only show this side of the Atlantic.
For continental fans that means a trip to London if they want to see Slipknot in 2027. It is a contrast with recent summers, when the band played twelve dates across Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Portugal in June 2025 alone. Nothing rules out more dates later, but none has been announced as of 6 October 2026.
Paris has had more Slipknot nights than any other continental city. After the Élysée Montmartre in 1999 they played the Zénith in May 2001, twice in February 2002, twice in November 2008 and again in January 2015.
They moved up to Bercy in October 2004 on the tour with Slayer, then to the AccorHotels Arena in January 2020 and the renamed Accor Arena on 12 December 2024. The Parc des Princes, on the Metallica stadium tour of June 2004, remains their biggest Paris crowd.
Germany has hosted Slipknot on almost every European tour: Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne-area arenas, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Hanover and Dortmund, plus the twin festivals of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. In June 2025 they played the Waldbühne in Berlin and the Expo-Plaza in Hanover as well as Frankfurt's Festhalle.
In 2027, for the first time in years, no German show has been announced.
Ireland has often been the first stop of a Slipknot winter tour. The Prepare for Hell Tour opened at the 3Arena on 14 January 2015, and the We Are Not Your Kind tour started there exactly five years later, on 14 January 2020.
Before that came the RDS Arena in June 2004 and the RDS Simmonscourt in June 2005. No Irish date has been announced for 2027.
Recent European shows have run to 14 to 16 songs, about an hour and a half. At the Estádio do Restelo in Lisbon on 29 June 2025 the set opened with '(sic)', 'People = Shit' and 'Gematria (The Killing Name)', took in 'Wait and Bleed', 'Nero Forte', 'Psychosocial', 'The Heretic Anthem', 'The Devil in I', 'Unsainted' and 'Duality', and ended with 'Spit It Out', 'Surfacing' and 'Scissors'.
The 25th anniversary shows of December 2024 focused on the first album: the Accor Arena set on 12 December began with '(sic)', 'Eyeless', 'Wait and Bleed' and 'Get This' and included 'Eeyore', 'Me Inside', 'Liberate', 'Purity', 'Prosthetics', 'No Life' and 'Only One'. In the archive as a whole, 'Surfacing', 'Spit It Out', '(sic)', 'Wait and Bleed' and 'People = Shit' are the songs they have played most often in Europe.
There are no Slipknot tickets on sale for continental Europe or Ireland in 2027, because no concerts there have been announced. The Wembley date went on general sale on 2 October 2026 after a presale on 29 September.
If European dates are added, buy only from the official ticket outlet of each country, the venue or festival itself, or the band's fan club. Be careful with resale listings and with sites offering 'presale codes' for dates that do not exist.
