The Killers have not announced any concerts in continental Europe or Ireland for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, festival headline slot or one-off show on the calendar, and the band's most recent European dates were in the summer of 2024: three nights at the 3Arena in Dublin in June and Mad Cool in Madrid on 13 July 2024.
What is known is that a new record is in progress. In August 2026, while promoting his solo album Thrasher, Brandon Flowers said the four core members, Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr., were writing and demoing together with producers Ariel Rechtshaid, Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado, and later said the album was due in early 2028.
This page explains what is and is not announced, and tells the story of the band's concerts in continental Europe and Ireland over more than twenty years: from the Melkweg in Amsterdam in May 2004 to arenas, stadium-sized open-air shows, Malahide Castle and the headline stages of Rock Werchter, Pinkpop, Benicàssim, Mad Cool and Electric Picnic.
There is no official Killers Europe tour for 2027. The band's last full touring cycle was the Imploding the Mirage Tour, which began in Las Vegas in April 2022 and reached Europe that summer, followed by festival dates in 2023 and the short Rebel Diamonds run in 2024. In August 2024 the original four-piece reunited for a fifteen-night residency marking the 20th anniversary of Hot Fuss, playing the album in full each night.
In 2026 the band have played only isolated events, including the kickoff show of the UEFA Champions League final on 30 May 2026. Brandon Flowers has spent the year on his third solo album, Thrasher. His comments in August 2026 describe a band working on new songs at its own pace rather than preparing a tour: 'We're just going to keep chipping away,' he said, adding that it was too early to reveal a title.
With the new album announced for early 2028, a 2027 European tour would be unusual for the band, who have mostly toured after releasing records. But they have also played festival summers between albums, as in 2023. Nothing has been confirmed for 2027, and any list of dates circulating now should be treated with suspicion.
If they do return, the history gives a good idea of where they are likely to be welcome: Dublin, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Cologne, Berlin, Milan and the big festival fields of Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Ireland. That is a record of the past, not a forecast.
The Killers built their European following from small clubs during the Hot Fuss Tour. The setlist archive starts with the Melkweg's Oude Zaal in Amsterdam on 4 May 2004, before the album was even out. That summer they played Le Botanique in Brussels, the Paradiso in Amsterdam, the Molotow in Hamburg, the Roter Salon in Berlin and the Underground in Cologne, and in the autumn the Melkweg again, the Zénith in Paris as part of the Inrocks festival, Gebäude 9 in Cologne, the Columbia Club in Berlin, Kägelbanan in Stockholm and the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 11 November 2004.
In 2005, with Hot Fuss at No. 1 in Britain, the clubs got bigger: the Élysée Montmartre in Paris, Tivoli in Utrecht, La Laiterie in Strasbourg, the Rolling Stone in Milan, Muffathalle in Munich, Gruenspan in Hamburg and Apolo in Barcelona, followed by summer shows at the Eurockéennes in Belfort, the Docks in Hamburg, Oxegen in Ireland and the Amsterdam ArenA on 13 July 2005.
The Sam's Town Tour of 2006 and 2007 moved them into theatres and then halls: the E-Werk in Berlin and Cologne, Vega in Copenhagen, the Große Freiheit 36 in Hamburg, Razzmatazz in Barcelona, the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, the Bataclan in Paris on 15 November 2006 and the Paradiso in Amsterdam. In early 2007 they played two nights at the RDS Main Hall in Dublin, the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, the Palladium in Cologne, the Columbiahalle in Berlin and the Zénith in Paris, and that summer they headlined festivals across the continent.
The Day & Age World Tour took them into arenas in March 2009: The O2 in Dublin, the Philipshalle in Düsseldorf, the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin, the Zenith in Munich, the Forum at Assago, the Hallenstadion in Zürich, the Zénith in Paris, Badalona near Barcelona and the Palacio de Deportes in Madrid. A summer of festivals followed, along with the Arena di Verona on 8 June 2009 and the Estádio do Restelo in Lisbon on 18 July.
The Battle Born World Tour (2012 to 2013) was their most widespread yet. In Europe it included Tempelhof airport in Berlin in September 2012, then arena dates in February and March 2013 in Dublin, Helsinki, Stockholm, Bærum, Malmö, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, and a summer that took in the Zénith in Paris, Forest National in Brussels, Rome, Milan, Lucca's Piazza Napoleone and a huge open-air show at Phoenix Park in Dublin on 13 July 2013.
The Wonderful Wonderful World Tour brought them back to arenas in February and March 2018: Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen's Royal Arena, the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, the Ziggo Dome, the Rockhal in Luxembourg, the Zénith Paris, the Lanxess Arena in Cologne and the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. The Imploding the Mirage Tour opened its European leg with two nights at Malahide Castle near Dublin on 14 and 15 June 2022 and included La Seine Musicale near Paris on 5 July, the Wiener Stadthalle on 12 July and the Ziggo Dome on 16 July 2022.
The table below lists 189 documented European concerts by The Killers between 2004 and 2024, with the most shows in Dublin (13), Amsterdam (11), Cologne (11), Berlin (10), Paris (9), Madrid (6). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (18 June 2022 to 13 July 2024), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Few international bands have headlined as many continental festivals as the Killers. They have played Rock Werchter in 2007, 2009, 2018 and 2022, Pinkpop at Megaland in Landgraaf in 2009 and 2013, Pukkelpop at Kiewit near Hasselt in 2004, 2008 and 2023, Benicàssim in 2009, 2013 and 2018, Roskilde in 2007, Sziget on Óbuda Island in Budapest in 2007 and 2012, and the twin German festivals at the Nürburgring and in Nuremberg in 2009 and 2013.
In Spain they played Bilbao BBK Live at Kobetamendi in 2017 and 2022 and Mad Cool in Madrid in 2022 and 2024; it was at Mad Cool in July 2022 that they premiered the song 'boy'. In Portugal they have played Super Bock Super Rock in 2013 and Rock in Rio Lisboa in 2018. Other festival dates include Frequency in Austria (2012), Paléo in Nyon and St. Gallen Open Air (2018), Deichbrand (2018), and Hurricane and Southside in Germany (2022).
Ireland has its own festival history with the band: Oxegen in 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2009, and Electric Picnic at Stradbally Hall in 2012 and 2023, when they headlined the festival on 3 September 2023.
The Killers formed in Las Vegas in 2001, when Brandon Flowers answered a newspaper ad placed by guitarist Dave Keuning; bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. joined in 2002. Their break came in Britain: 'Mr. Brightside' was first played on BBC Radio 1 in August 2003, and their debut album Hot Fuss came out in the UK in June 2004, a week before the US. It went to No. 1 in the UK in January 2005 and spent 173 weeks on the albums chart.
Sam's Town (2006), influenced by Bruce Springsteen, and Day & Age (2008), produced by Stuart Price and led by 'Human', both went to No. 1 in the UK and Ireland. After a break in 2010, they returned with Battle Born (2012), named after the Nevada flag, and in 2013 played their biggest show to date at Wembley Stadium. Wonderful Wonderful (2017) became their first No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Stoermer stopped touring in 2016 and Keuning took an indefinite break in 2017, so the band toured for several years with Ted Sablay, Jake Blanton, Robbie Connolly and Taylor Milne. Imploding the Mirage (2020) and Pressure Machine (2021) extended their run of UK No. 1 albums to seven, the only international act to achieve that streak with every album since their debut. Keuning returned to the studio for Pressure Machine, and the original four played together on stage again at the Hot Fuss anniversary residency in 2024.
The band have sold more than 35 million records and have played in over 50 countries. 'Mr. Brightside' is the longest-charting single in UK chart history at 500 weeks. They released a second greatest hits album, Rebel Diamonds, in December 2023, and in 2024 the original four members reunited on stage for the Hot Fuss anniversary residency.
| Album | Year | Chart peak |
|---|---|---|
| Hot Fuss | 2004 | UK 1 |
| Sam's Town | 2006 | UK 1 |
| Day & Age | 2008 | UK 1 |
| Battle Born | 2012 | UK 1 |
| Wonderful Wonderful | 2017 | UK 1 |
| Imploding the Mirage | 2020 | UK 1 |
| Pressure Machine | 2021 | UK 1 |
Ireland has been one of the Killers' strongest markets from the start: Hot Fuss went seven times platinum there and Sam's Town four times platinum. Their Dublin history runs from the Olympia Theatre in November 2004 through the RDS Main Hall (two nights in February 2007), Marlay Park and The Academy (August 2008), The O2 (2009 and 2013), the 3Arena (2017 and 2024) and the RDS Arena (June 2018).
Two Irish shows stand out. On 13 July 2013 they played an open-air show in Phoenix Park, and in June 2022 they opened the European leg of the Imploding the Mirage Tour with two nights at Malahide Castle. In June 2024 they returned for three nights at the 3Arena on 12, 14 and 15 June, their last headline shows in this part of Europe.
Amsterdam is where the archive of their continental concerts begins, at the Melkweg on 4 May 2004. Since then they have played the Paradiso, the Heineken Music Hall, the Ziggo Dome in March 2013, February 2018 and July 2022, and the Amsterdam ArenA in July 2005.
The Netherlands also gave them two Pinkpop headline slots, in 2009 and 2013.
The band's Paris shows trace their rise: the Zénith during the Inrocks festival in November 2004, the Élysée Montmartre in February 2005, the Bataclan in November 2006 and the Nouveau Casino in October 2008, then the Zénith as headliners in 2007, 2009, 2013 and 2018.
In July 2018 they played the open-air Hippodrome de Longchamp, and on 5 July 2022 La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt, just outside the city.
Spain has seen them mostly in festival fields. They have played Benicàssim three times (2009, 2013, 2018), Bilbao BBK Live twice and Mad Cool twice, as well as O Son do Camiño at Monte do Gozo in Santiago de Compostela in 2018.
Their last European show to date was at Mad Cool on 13 July 2024, a 17-song set that opened with 'My Own Soul's Warning' and ended with 'Human' and 'Mr. Brightside'.
A Killers headline set in Europe usually runs to about 20 songs. On the last night of the 2024 Dublin run, 15 June, they opened with 'Mr. Brightside' itself, followed by 'Spaceman', 'Shot at the Night', 'Run for Cover', 'Jenny Was a Friend of Mine', 'Quiet Town', 'Somebody Told Me' and 'Human', with 'boy', 'Miss Atomic Bomb', 'A Dustland Fairytale', 'Runaways', 'Read My Mind' and 'When You Were Young' later in the set and 'Battle Born' as the closer.
Festival sets are a little shorter. At Electric Picnic on 3 September 2023 they played 18 songs, including a cover of the Waterboys' 'The Whole of the Moon' and the new song 'Your Side of Town'. On the Imploding the Mirage shows of 2022 they opened with 'My Own Soul's Warning' and played covers such as 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' at Malahide.
Across their documented European concerts, the songs played most often are 'Mr. Brightside', 'Somebody Told Me', 'All These Things That I've Done', 'Smile Like You Mean It', 'When You Were Young' and 'Read My Mind'.
There are no Killers tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no concerts have been announced. Any site already selling seats or offering a presale code for a 2027 European show is not official.
For their previous European tours, tickets were sold through each country's official ticket outlets and venue box offices, often after a presale for the band's mailing list. Festival appearances are sold by the festivals themselves, usually as day or weekend passes. If dates are announced, use only those official sources and the official resale platform of the country concerned.
