The Weeknd has not announced any concerts in Europe for 2027. As of 6 October 2026 there is no tour, stadium run or festival booking in continental Europe or Ireland, and the After Hours til Dawn Tour, which brought him to European stadiums in 2023 and again in the summer of 2026, is scheduled to end in Asia on 5 November 2026, with no 2027 dates.
The 2026 European leg was one of the largest any solo artist has played on the continent: three nights at the Allianz Arena in Munich, four at the Stade de France, three each at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, San Siro, the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm and the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid, and two at Croke Park in Dublin, among others.
This page explains what is and is not known about his plans and tells the story of Abel Tesfaye's concerts in continental Europe and Ireland, from Primavera Sound in Barcelona in June 2012 to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona on 1 September 2026.
There is no official Weeknd tour for 2027, in Europe or anywhere else. The After Hours til Dawn Tour began at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on 14 July 2022 and is scheduled to finish in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 5 November 2026, after 175 shows. Its Wikipedia record lists no dates beyond that.
The tour has set the record for the highest-grossing tour by a male solo artist, with more than one billion dollars from 153 reported concerts and about 5.1 million tickets. Its European legs came in two summers: 2023, with a show drawing on After Hours and Dawn FM, and 2026, after the release of Hurry Up Tomorrow in January 2025, which completed the trilogy that began with After Hours.
What comes next is unclear. In May 2023 Tesfaye said he intended to retire the name 'the Weeknd' and perform under his birth name or a new pseudonym, and described the album that became Hurry Up Tomorrow as his likely 'final hurrah' under that name. No new project, name or tour has been announced since.
Until there is an official announcement, treat any list of 2027 European dates, any 'presale code' and any ticket listing with suspicion.
The Weeknd's first concerts on the continent came in 2012, when he was still known mainly for his free mixtapes. He played Primavera Sound at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona on 2 June 2012, then Le Bataclan in Paris on 5 June, Recyclart in Brussels on 6 June and the Gashouder at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam on 6 July 2012. In March 2013 he returned to headline Le Trianon in Paris and the Cirque Royal in Brussels, with a 19-song set that included 'High for This', 'The Morning', 'Wicked Games' and a cover of Michael Jackson's 'Dirty Diana'.
In February and March 2014 he toured European arenas as the opening act on the European leg of Drake's Would You Like a Tour?: the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Pérols near Montpellier, two nights at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, the O2 World in Berlin, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Oberhausen, the Palais 12 in Brussels and The O2 in Dublin on 18 March 2014.
His first European headline arena tour was the Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour, which opened at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm on 17 February 2017. It went on to Oslo Spektrum, the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 24 February, the Hallenstadion in Zürich, the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on 28 February, the Lanxess Arena in Cologne on 2 March and the Sportpaleis in Antwerp on 3 March 2017. That summer he played Frankfurt, Bergen, Benicàssim, Marlay Park in Dublin and the Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris.
After a festival appearance in Berlin in September 2018, he did not return until the After Hours til Dawn Tour reached Europe in June 2023, now in stadiums. The 2023 leg ran from Algés near Lisbon on 6 June through Horsens, two nights at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Oslo, two at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Marlay Park, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, two at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels, Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona, two at the Allianz Riviera in Nice, two at the Ippodromo Snai La Maura in Milan, two at the Stade de France, Bordeaux and Munich, before Prague, Warsaw and Tallinn in August 2023.
The 2026 leg was larger still. It played Parken in Copenhagen on 19 and 20 June, the Allianz Arena in Munich from 25 to 27 June, the Stade Pierre-Mauroy near Lille on 3 and 4 July, the Stade de France on 8, 10, 11 and 12 July, the Johan Cruijff ArenA from 16 to 18 July, the Allianz Riviera on 21 and 22 July and San Siro in Milan from 24 to 26 July.
It then moved to the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt (30 and 31 July and 1 August), the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw (4 and 5 August), the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm (8 to 10 August) and, after London, Croke Park in Dublin (22 and 23 August), the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid (28 to 30 August) and the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona on 1 September, with two nights at the Estádio do Restelo in Lisbon listed for 5 and 6 September 2026.
The table below lists 73 documented European concerts by The Weeknd between 2012 and 2026, with the most shows in Amsterdam (8), Frankfurt (6), Saint-Denis (6), Paris (6), Dublin (5), Milan (5). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (18 July 2026 to 1 September 2026), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Festivals were important early in his European career. He played Primavera Sound in Spain and Portugal in 2012, a few months before signing with a major label, and returned to Spain as a headliner at Benicàssim on 13 July 2017. In 2018 he played Lollapalooza Berlin, at the Olympiapark on 8 September 2018.
Since 2022 he has played only his own stadium shows in Europe, with production too large for festival stages. No festival bookings for 2027 have been announced.
Abel Makkonen Tesfaye was born on 16 February 1990 in Ontario, the only child of Ethiopian immigrants, and grew up in Scarborough, Toronto. He grew up speaking Amharic and is also fluent in French, having attended a French immersion school. He began posting songs anonymously on YouTube in 2009 and in 2011 released three mixtapes, House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence, which were compiled as Trilogy in 2012 after he signed with Republic Records.
His debut album Kiss Land (2013) was followed by Beauty Behind the Madness (2015), his first UK No. 1, with 'Can't Feel My Face' and 'The Hills', and by Starboy (2016), with 'Starboy' and 'I Feel It Coming'. The EP My Dear Melancholy (2018) added 'Call Out My Name', and in 2018 he headlined Coachella for the first time.
After Hours (2020) gave him 'Blinding Lights', which Billboard ranked as the greatest Hot 100 song of all time and which Spotify identified in 2026 as the most-streamed song in its history. He headlined the Super Bowl LV halftime show in February 2021. Dawn FM (2022) and Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025) completed the trilogy, both reaching No. 1 in the UK.
Tesfaye is one of the best-selling and most-streamed artists of all time, the first to pass 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify and the first with 30 songs above one billion streams on the platform. His awards include four Grammys, 20 Billboard Music Awards and 22 Juno Awards. He also co-created the HBO series The Idol (2023) and starred in the film Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025).
| Album | Year | Chart peak |
|---|---|---|
| Kiss Land | 2013 | UK 12 |
| Beauty Behind the Madness | 2015 | UK 1 |
| Starboy | 2016 | UK 5 |
| After Hours | 2020 | UK 1 |
| Dawn FM | 2022 | UK 1 |
| Hurry Up Tomorrow | 2025 | UK 1 |
France hosted more shows than any other country on both European legs of the tour. In 2026 he played the Stade de France four times (8, 10, 11 and 12 July), after two nights there on 29 and 30 July 2023, as well as two nights each year at the Allianz Riviera in Nice, Bordeaux's Matmut Atlantique in 2023 and two nights near Lille in 2026: thirteen French stadium shows over the two summers.
His Paris history goes back to Le Bataclan in June 2012 and Le Trianon in March 2013, then two Bercy nights as Drake's opening act in 2014 and his own AccorHotels Arena show in February 2017. He speaks French, which he learned at school in Toronto.
Several cities got three-night stands in 2026: the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam, San Siro in Milan, the Allianz Arena in Munich, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Madrid. In 2023 he had played most of them once or twice, with Milan's shows held at the Ippodromo Snai La Maura racecourse rather than San Siro.
Amsterdam has been on every European tour: the Gashouder in 2012, the Ziggo Dome as support act in 2014 and headliner in 2017, and the ArenA in 2023 and 2026.
Ireland first saw him as Drake's support act at The O2 in Dublin on 18 March 2014. He headlined Marlay Park in Dublin on 15 July 2017 and again on 28 June 2023.
In 2026 he moved up to Croke Park for two nights, on 22 and 23 August, his largest Irish shows so far.
With around 35 stadium shows in continental Europe and Ireland between 19 June and 6 September 2026, the 2026 leg was the longest European run of his career, and it came at the end of a tour that had already broken the record for the highest-grossing tour by a male soloist.
Many of the 2026 shows returned to stadiums from 2023, such as Amsterdam, Nice, Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona, Munich and Dublin, but the venues were often larger: Croke Park instead of Marlay Park, San Siro instead of La Maura, the Allianz Arena instead of the Olympiastadion.
The 2026 shows ran to about 38 songs. In Barcelona on 1 September 2026 he opened with 'Baptized in Fear', 'Open Hearts' and 'Wake Me Up', played 'After Hours', 'Starboy', 'Heartless', 'Faith', 'São Paulo', 'Take My Breath', 'Sacrifice', 'Can't Feel My Face', 'The Hills', 'Timeless', 'Creepin'', 'One of the Girls', 'Die for You', 'Wicked Games' and 'Call Out My Name', and closed with 'Save Your Tears', 'Less Than Zero', 'Blinding Lights', 'House of Balloons' and 'Moth to a Flame'.
The 2023 stadium shows were similar in length, about 35 or 36 songs, opening with 'Dawn FM' and 'Take My Breath'. The 2017 Starboy arena shows had 28 to 31 songs, and the early club and theatre concerts of 2012 and 2013 about 11 to 19.
Across his documented European concerts, the songs played most often are 'Wicked Games', 'Starboy', 'The Hills', 'Can't Feel My Face', 'I Feel It Coming' and 'Often'.
There are no Weeknd tickets on sale for Europe in 2027, because no concerts have been announced. Any site already selling seats or offering a presale code for a 2027 European show is not official.
For the 2023 and 2026 stadium legs, tickets were sold through each country's official ticket outlets and the stadiums' own channels, with presales for registered fans. If new dates are announced, use only those official sources and the official resale platform of the country concerned, and be careful with secondary sites that list seats before any sale has opened.
