Tokio Hotel follow their autumn 2026 arena tour with an open-air summer. Summer Encore 2027 starts at the Roma Summer Fest in Rome on 14 July 2027, then spends most of August in Germany, from Aurich on 5 August to the Expo Plaza in Hanover on 27 August, with Warsaw and the FM4 Frequency Festival in Austria along the way.
The German route mixes parks, squares and festival sites: the Westfalenpark in Dortmund, the Residenzplatz in Würzburg, the SparkassenPark in Mönchengladbach, Frankfurt, Dresden, the Domplatz in Magdeburg, near the band's home town, Halle, Hamburg and Berlin's Waldbühne on 25 August.
This page gathers the confirmed dates, the venues, the arena tour that comes first, and twenty years of Tokio Hotel concerts in mainland Europe, from Las Ventas in Madrid and Bercy in 2007 to the Brandenburg Gate in 2023.
The name refers to Encore, the band's eighth studio album, announced for 2026. Before the summer, the Arena Tour 2026 runs from an album release show in Berlin on 25 October 2026 through London, two Paris dates, Hamburg, Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Berlin, Nuremberg, Zurich, Milan, Leipzig, Vienna, Munich, Esch-sur-Alzette, Düsseldorf and Madrid on 23 November 2026. Those dates are listed below as additional confirmed concerts.
Summer Encore 2027 is different: fourteen open-air shows in six weeks. After Rome, the German leg begins at Aurich on 5 August and continues with Dortmund (6 August), Würzburg (8 August), Mönchengladbach (10 August), Frankfurt (11 August), Dresden (13 August), Magdeburg (15 August) and Halle (Saale) on 17 August.
The band then plays the Progresja Summer Stage in Warsaw on 19 August and the FM4 Frequency Festival in St. Pölten, Austria (listed for 21 August), before returning to Germany for the MS Dockville site in Hamburg (23 August), the Waldbühne in Berlin (25 August) and the Expo Plaza in Hanover (27 August).
Tickets are sold through the official outlets for each date, which the band's website links to. No presale date or code has been published for the summer shows.

The SparkassenPark in Mönchengladbach was built for field hockey and staged the 2006 Hockey World Cup; in summer it is one of the busiest open-air concert sites in western Germany.
The Domplatz lies in front of Magdeburg Cathedral, the oldest Gothic cathedral in Germany, and is the city's main open-air stage in summer.
FM4 Frequency is an Austrian festival backed by the radio station FM4. It moved from Salzburg to St. Pölten in 2009.
The Waldbühne is an open-air amphitheatre in a wooded hollow beside Berlin's Olympiapark. It was built in the 1930s and seats more than 22,000.

Tokio Hotel's European story outside Germany took off in 2007. The setlist.fm archive shows the Hala Torwar in Warsaw in April, the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in Madrid on 14 June, the Piazza del Duomo in Milan, the Place de la République and the Champ-de-Mars in Paris and the Arena di Verona that summer, then an arena tour in October 2007 through Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall, the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, Forest National, Bercy in Paris on 16 October, Nantes, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lille, Amnéville, Nice, Toulon and the DatchForum near Milan.
The 1000 Hotels European Tour of March 2008 played Forest National, Rotterdam Ahoy, two nights at Bercy, Dijon, Montpellier, Marseille, Madrid, Turin, Rome and Bologna, and that summer brought the Parc des Princes in Paris on 21 June, the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, the Goffertpark in Nijmegen and Rock Werchter. Some 2008 dates were cancelled after Bill Kaulitz's vocal cord surgery.
The Welcome to Humanoid City tour of 2010 was their last big arena run of that era: Rotterdam Ahoy, Forest National, the Atlas Arena in Łódź, Lille, Nantes, Marseille, Turin, Padua, Vienna, Toulouse, the Palau Sant Jordi, Madrid, Rome, the Forum di Assago and Bercy on 14 April 2010.
After a five-year break, the band came back in smaller rooms: the Feel It All tour of 2015 (the Trianon in Paris, the Cirque Royal, the Fabrique in Milan, Klub Stodoła in Warsaw), the Dream Machine tour of 2017 (the Ancienne Belgique, L'Olympia, the Transbordeur in Lyon, Progresja in Warsaw) and the Melancholic Paradise tour of 2019, which added a long German run from Oberhausen to Hamburg, Hanover and Leipzig.
The Beyond The World tour of 2023 played L'Olympia, the E-Werk in Cologne, Sala Apolo in Barcelona and Huxleys in Berlin, and in July 2023 the band appeared at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. In March 2025 The Tour 2025 went from the MHP Arena in Ludwigsburg and the Jahrhunderthalle to L'Olympia, La Riviera in Madrid, Razzmatazz, the Alcatraz in Milan, the Gasometer in Vienna, Progresja in Warsaw and the Inselpark Arena in Hamburg, and in August 2025 they played the Parkbühne Wuhlheide in Berlin.
The table below lists 139 documented European concerts by Tokio Hotel between 2006 and 2025, with the most shows in Paris (12), Berlin (6), Barcelona (6), Warsaw (5), Milan (5), Madrid (5). It is not exhaustive: it only includes documented shows.

Across the 15 most recent documented European concerts with a full song list (6 March 2025 to 15 August 2025), these are the songs that came up most often. Titles only — set lists change from night to night.
Tokio Hotel have played Rock Werchter (2008), Deichbrand at Cuxhaven (2023 and 2024), Rocco del Schlacko at Püttlingen (2023), Parookaville at Weeze (2023) and Highfield (2023), as well as big open-air shows such as the Parc des Princes in 2008 and the Brandenburg Gate in 2023.
In 2027 the FM4 Frequency Festival in St. Pölten is part of the tour, and several German dates, such as MS Dockville in Hamburg and the Westfalenpark in Dortmund, take place on festival or summer-series sites.
Tokio Hotel formed in 2001 around the identical twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz, from Loitsche near Magdeburg, with bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer, whom the twins met in the audience of one of their shows. First called Devilish, they signed to Universal Music Germany as Tokio Hotel.
Their debut album Schrei (2005) and the single "Durch den Monsun" made them stars in Germany and Austria. Zimmer 483 and the English-language Scream followed in 2007 and sold over 2.5 million copies together, opening France, Spain, Italy and Portugal to the band.
They won the MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist in 2008, the first German band to win at the VMAs, and several MTV Europe Music Awards. Humanoid (2009), Kings of Suburbia (2014), which moved towards electropop, Dream Machine (2017) and 2001 (2022) followed. The band has sold more than 10 million records.
Bill and Tom Kaulitz have also been judges on Deutschland sucht den Superstar and winning coaches on The Voice of Germany, and starred in the Netflix series Kaulitz & Kaulitz in 2024. Encore, the eighth album, is out in 2026.

The Kaulitz twins began playing live in Magdeburg at the age of ten, near their home village of Loitsche. On 15 August 2027 the band plays the Domplatz, the square in front of Magdeburg Cathedral, the oldest Gothic cathedral in Germany.
Halle (Saale), on the Peißnitz island, follows two days later, and Dresden two days before. Few tours have taken the band to so many cities in the region in one week.
Berlin's Waldbühne, a 22,000-seat amphitheatre next to the Olympic Stadium, hosts the band on 25 August 2027. Berlin has seen Tokio Hotel in clubs such as Huxleys, at the Brandenburg Gate in 2023, at the Wuhlheide in August 2025 and at the Uber Arena on the 2026 arena tour.
Together with the album release show on 25 October 2026, that makes three different Berlin concerts in under a year.
Rome opens the summer on 14 July 2027. Italy took to the band early, with the Piazza del Duomo in Milan and the Arena di Verona in 2007 and arena shows in Rome in 2008 and 2010.
Poland is one of their most loyal markets: the Hala Torwar in 2007, the Atlas Arena in 2010, Klub Stodoła in 2015 and Progresja in 2017, 2019 and 2025. The 19 August 2027 date is on Progresja's summer stage.
France embraced the band early, with Bercy, the Parc des Princes and a long tour of French arenas. In 2026 they play two Paris dates on the arena tour, on 30 October and 21 November.
Summer Encore 2027 has no French date, so the autumn 2026 shows are the French fans' chance to see the Encore material.
Tokio Hotel's 2025 shows ran to 22 songs. At the Wuhlheide in Berlin on 15 August 2025 the set grew to 27, opening with "Ready, Set, Go!", "Darkside of the Sun" and "Automatic" and including "The Heart Get No Sleep", "Girl Got a Gun", "Feel It All", "Totgeliebt", "Schwarz", "Rette mich", "Spring nicht", a cover of "Careless Whisper", "White Lies", "An deiner Seite (Ich bin da)", "Der letzte Tag" and, last, "Durch den Monsun".
"Durch den Monsun" is the band's most played song in the European archive, followed by "Feel It All", "The Heart Get No Sleep", "Girl Got a Gun" and "Love Who Loves You Back". The 2027 summer set will include songs from Encore.
Tickets for Summer Encore 2027 are sold through the official outlets for each date, linked from the band's website; festival dates such as Frequency require a festival ticket.
There is no public presale code to buy. Codes or "VIP access" offered on social media are not genuine; VIP packages are only sold through the official channels. If a show sells out, use the official resale service of the country.
